Helm, or "Helam," is the power of guardianship and protection on the Torilian sphere. He is worshipped by guards and paladins both, long being seen as a cold and focused deity who impartially takes the role of defender or enforcer.

Helm has held a grudge against the Morninglord Lathander for some dark slight in the pantheon's far-reaching history, but he reserves his real opposition for powers of evil whose plots threaten the safety of their sphere, such as Bane and Cyric. He is especially at odds with the uncontrolled violence and careless destruction of Talos and the other Gods of Fury.

The only power who could be considered Helm's true ally is Torm, their pantheon's patron of paladins. Strongly-held ideological differences have caused a great rivalry verging on hatred between the two gods' priests, but the deities themselves remain close.

His realm on Mechanus is called Everwatch. Any time a visitor enters the wheel on which it is located, no matter the direction, they encounter a watchtower manned by a forbidding guardian covered head to toe in mithral plate armor. This guardian, whose name and nature are unknown, unfailingly detects the basher's alignment and determines a visitor's reason for entering the realm. It can instantly summon hosts of aasimon in case of any attempted invasions.
