Important Notice

Sigil: Planar Legends is based off of the Planescape campaign setting published in 1994.

Our Server Timeline begins just before Planescape: Faction War book, which means all Factions of Sigil remain intact and Factols have not disappeared or been killed.

The SPL Server History serves primarily towards bigger occurrences, generally open events, storylines significant for the entire or a large part of the server; or individuals that greatly affected the server or a part of it. The SPL Server History is less orientated towards personal histories of individual characters. If you'd like to record your character's history, we highly suggest using Character Profiles for that purpose.

2012

• Styx Silhouette beginning.
• Alliance of Change - A Demon Army that seek to take over the Outlands, begins to form.
• Vincent and Alec take control of an Acheron Cube to divert the River Styx to collect Rod of Law fragment.

2013

• Vincent and Face defeat Dao sultan armies and free thousands of slaves.
• Rod of Law is assembled.
• Styx Silhouette bullshit happens. (What is this?)
• Freedom's Keel is destroyed. Regand bites the dust.
• Vincent Vale and Aerin Gray buy the Wayfarer Inn down in Lower Wards. The Inn mantain its neutrality by allowing all and any to enter and leave through its myrid portals across the Planes.

2014

• The Alliance of Change, hard at work, begins twisting Limbo into a new Abyss.
• Vincent Vale of the Athar, Nullus of the Doomguard and Alec of the Bleakers face off against the Demon Lord Abraxas.
• Saevio Silverbludgeon, Godsman Namer, defeat the weaken vassel of Surma, a Carcarian Near-Power.

2015

• A new Walking Castle is added to the Outlands, via Jack Silvence and the Golden Herons with the aid of VIncent Vale of the Athar.
• Vincent Vale, Saevio Silverbludgeon, and the Guardians Sect defeat the divinely empowered werewolf incursion and save Faunel
• Saevio Silverbludgeon, Godsman Namer, defeat the weaken vassel of Surma, a Carcerian Near-Power.
• The Golden Herons Mercenary Company, led by Jack Silverence and Solomon Faldukr, form a new force: The Peacekeepers, who station in Sigil.
• Following a battle in the Market Ward in Sigil, the Harmonium move out of the area, taken over by the newly-formed Peacekeepers. (Editor Note: Need more info on this event)

2016

• Vincent and planewalkers group up to fight off the slaadi invasion and defeat Ventrax and the Kingpin. (Is this the black slaadi plot?)

2017

• Fated vs Sinker mini war (Need more info there)
• Vincent Vale and Crew prevented Hopeless from being overrun by Alliance of Change forces, who attempted to take over the Gate-Town.
• Vincent helped free a solar from Baator. (This led to any consequence? Need info on this if it effected the server)

2018

• The Athar declare a new Factor amidst their Faction: Vincent Vale
• The Sky Scar opens and the Alliance of Change begins invading the Planes (need more info here)

2019

• An invading force of the Alliance of Change penetrate Undersigil but it is defeated by a force of Planewalkers.
• The Alliance of Change siege upon the Gate-Town of Curst.
• More forces of the Alliance of Change swarms Wasteward Outlands.

2020

• The Alliance of Change invades Tradegate. The Planewalker Aldinach transforms city guards into monstrosities. Unleashes patchwork colossal.
• Planewalkers defend Hillard's Bay from an attack by the Alliance of Change.
• Rosaline Astair, Fated Factotum, is promoted to Factor within the Faction. Over a Turn, she create strong ties to the Gate-Town of Glorium, earning Jarl's Flatnose Grim approval to build Blackbird Academy at the outskirts of Town.
• Alliance of Change attacks the Gate-Town of Excelsior.
• The Dreaded Planewalker Nullus becomes a Greater Doomlord (Factor).
• A portal is discovered in the Fulcrum Market Square leading to a Prime called Asoruna. In there, the Spire of Valor is first discovered, becoming a popular Planewalker location in years to come.

2021

• The Demon Lord Pazuzu consumes Eblis to gain his indomitable will. (No idea what this phrase means, more info?)
• Planewalkers destroy an Alliance of Change fort filled with experimental creatures. Encounter Pazuzu's offspring and flee.
• The Planewalker Chandra becomes a Factor in the Sign of One Faction. Assumes the role of Speaker for the next few Turns in Speaker's Gatherings in Sigil.
• The Planewalker Tasha of the Society of Sensations is promoted to a Factor.
• Planewalkers visit Prime worlds under the Sky Scar, finding people willingly worshipping Pazuzu.
• A Library used by the Allaince of Change, owned by Grisil's, is destroyed, leaving their forces weakened.
• The Planewalker Tasha of the Society of Sensations is promoted to a Factor.

2022

• The anarchist Strout spread fear and mayham across the Cage, baffaling the Triad of Order. A combine force of Planewalkers eventually captured the dangerous criminal and bring him to Justice.
• A Plague begins spreading across the Hive in Sigil. (neeed more info on that)
• The Planewalker Paladin Brigur Hadriel Anduin becomes a Lord of Excelsior, joining his kind in defending Mount Celestia.
• The Alliance of Change decimate Excelsior and invade to the First Layer of Celestia - Lunia. The Demon Lord Abraxas's minions, an hybrid of Elemetnal and Tanar'ri, is shown to be capable of serviving Lunia's waters.
• Alliance of Change attacks the Gate-Town of Excelsior.
• The Planewalkers begin to push back against the Alliance of Change. Begins to collect Cosmic Artifacts from across the Planes.
• Forces led by The Paladin Lord Brigur of Excelsior and Greater Doomlord Nullus of the Vos Tribe wage War upon each other in the Outlands.
• A Hall of Speakers Meeting issue a shocking proposal that been accepted by all factions who attended - Overwatch Initaitive: A complete authority for the Mercykiller Faction to oversee the Triad of Order following their dabacle in bringing the anarchist Strout to Justice.*

2023

• The Alliance of Change come to an end at the Battlefield outside Curst. Saevio Silverbuldgeon, the Lion's Cub, strike true with his hammer, Tribunal, at the Right Hand of Pazzazu, then grabbing him with his very life to prevent the powerful fiend from escaping. For this - The legendary Planewalker paid with his life, cementing his legacy and forever bear his mark upon the Demon Lord Pazazu and his minions as they flee back to the Abyss to reform and officaly ending the terrible onslought the Alliance brought to the Outland for many years.
• Vincent Vale of the Athar, Paladin Lord Brigur Anduin, Chandra of the Sign of One, Rosaline Astair of the Fated, Tasha of the Sensates, and Harmione Barxire of Tradegate work together and successfully close the Sky Scar.
• Paladin Lord Brigur defeats Nullus on the battlefield and takes him captive, suppodely sealing the cursed Greater Doomlord in an unbreakable prison.
• To the surprise of no one, the Vos Leader and Greater Doomlord Nullus escape before the Turn's end through an elaborate plot, regaining his freedom.
• The Plague of Sigil begins in the Hive, eventually threaten the entire city. A group of Planewalkers eventually discover the source and defeat it.
• The Planewalker Venyr Valeson, Factotum of the Ciphers, becomes a Factor.
• The Planewalker Ajumat the Raksasha, of the Sign of One, becomes a Factor.
• The Planewalker Luther, Fated Factotum, becomes a Factor.
• The Goddess Hel from the Norse Pantheon begins to seed death via Blightstones across the Plane of Ysgard. Planewalkers are called and the popular activity known as "Breaking the Blightstone" profilerate among the Planewalking community.
• The Rogue Modron known as X-Y is revealed to be a Black Slaadi in masquarade. He is eventually defeated by a group of Planewalkers(or so the chant goes).
• A new threat menace the Gate-Town of Excelsior, threaten to destroy it from within. A group of Planewalkers, named Alda, Nezhara, Luther, Olen and Sezela investigate the Heart of Zeal, and were the first to report and defeat this threat to the Gate-Town to Celestia.
• The Cipher Planewalker Tahlia is inducted to the Moondark Court of Ecstasy, becoming a Dame Noble of the Gate-Town.
• Planewalkers become aware of a distant Prime called Avelgyd embroiled in civil war between a Sorcerer-Prince and Half-Deva Marchioness.
• The Planewalker Strigari, An reputable Imp in service of the Fraternity of Order, has been accused of setting a orphange on fire in the Hive Ward. After some chasing by Paladin Lord Brigur, the fiend is slain and vanquished.

2024

• The Planewalker Namir D'jere, who has been herald as a potential savior for the Prime of Avelgyd, is eventually betrayed and captured, leading to his execution. A small tombstone is erected in the town of Faunel of his demise.
• A scuffle, preview of the soon-to-be-unleashed Outland War begins in the Bridge of Fate near Ecstasy between Doomguard forces following the Planewalker Azaj and the Planes-Militant alongside the Planewalker Phoebe.
• Soon after, a ship known as the Doombringer, Vassel of the Dreaded Hound of War, Nullus, appears around the area of Tir fo Thuinn.
• The Prime of Avelgyd implode from within, ravaged by War and Strige for almost a Turn. The Prime is deserted by its people, who flee to the Outlands and the Planes via Sigil with the aid of Factioneers, settling in there.
• The Baatorian Malebranche Theggath, known as the Scourge, take residence in the Vale of the Spine, commandeering an old underground base of operation for some Priests who worship the Nine.
• Whilfred Wizbang, Fated Archwizard and perperator of the Wizbang's Wonderous Warehouse, open its patented discovery to the Planewalking community, begining the poliferating of knowledge regarding crafting to all Planewalkers across the Planes.
• The Planewalker Azaj of the Doomguard is captured and led to Excelsior, where is trialed and met with the more dire of punishments - usage of the spell Sanctify the Wicked,which is designed to purify evil from the heart of man and woman alike. The ritual succeed, cleansing the tiefling Planewalker, but also lead to outrage from the Doomguard.
• A shipment of armanements through the Lower Ward, an explosion devastate the nearby area, escalating accusations between the Doomguard Faction of Sigil and the Planes-Militant Sect of Excelsior.
• Following the escalating tension between the Doomguard and the Planes-Militant, the Factols of Sigil reappear among their namers - a rare event unto itself. Rumor has it the escalating tension between the Doomguard and the Planes-Militant is the reason for this.
• The Gate-Town of Excelsior, in a rare and unprecedented event, declare all badged members of the Planes-Militant are to be banished and exiled from the Gate-Town until the looming war be at end, for the fear of harm coming to their beloved Mount Celestial.
• A chant begins to spread in the Hive Ward, speaking of dangerous berks wearing orange robes with symbols etch on the fabric, wondering about.
• A ritual performed by a Divine Agent of Dionysias turn a portion of the Ma'at near the Egyptian-controlled domain into Wine. Chant has it was meant to influence the tide of War between the Planes-Militant and the Doomguard in someway. Sometime later, the River's effect is purified and the Ma'at run normally once more.
• The Outland War begins in the fullest, with a declaration made by the Triad of Order who chosen to stand at the side of the Planes-Militant. On the other side, The Athar, Bleakers and Godsman join forces with the Doomguard. Rest of the Factions attempt to find themself for better or worse among one side or the other.
• A fight break down in the Fulcrum, when Harmonium Forces lead by Planewalker Parias charge and demand the Indep-supported Peacekeepers leave the premise immediantly. A fight break down, where many Harmonium are butchered, rallying the Triad of Order to charge upon the Fulcrum in whole, causing the Indep to give way to Harmonium forces and retreat further into the Market Ward, reliquinshing Controlof the area after nearly a decade of control.
• After months of War Movement, with ruses and counter-ruses, the final battle is held at the outskirts of Fort Galadhor. The Doombringer - Nullus's ship - fires the Doomsday Device. In the Fort, an ancient device from the Prime Home of Lord Brigur is revealed, whose purpose is to stop Entropy. The ancient device protect most of the Fort but many, such as Lord Brigur, are ravaged by the Doomsday and sustain heavy wounds.

• A Red Greatwyrm, one of the few ever seen in the Outlands, arrive from nowhere and lands in the annihilated ruins of old Ironridge in the Dwarven Mountains, eventually turning the old underground pipes and sewage system into his lair. Many groups of Planewalkers attempt to defeat the menacing creature, but none has manages to. He has remain in his lair up until now, but the threat of him remain feared so.
