Barbarians are brave, even reckless warriors, and their great strength and heartiness makes them well suited for adventure. Barbarians scornfully reject the fighter traditions of arms training and discipline, instead tapping into a powerful rage that makes them stronger, tougher, and better able to withstand attacks. They only have the energy for a few such displays per day, but it is usually sufficient. Constant exposure to danger also gives barbarians a sort of "sixth sense," a preternatural ability to sense danger and dodge attacks, and their running stamina is legendary.
Barbarians who strike beyond their homeland sometimes find that they go far indeed. Barbarians have no trouble with the dangers, the miles, and the wonders that traveling entails, and planar travel, while more grand, offers a barbarian a chance to refine his abilities.

Barbarian Fast Movement
Skilled at chasing down foe and prey alike, barbarians receive a 10% bonus to movement. This does not stack with monk speed, and does not allow the barbarian to exceed the 150% movement rate cap that haste and similar effects allow one to reach.
Barbarian Rage
Whipping into a frothing fury, the barbarian's rage offers a +4 morale bonus to strength and constitution and +2 to all will saving throws in exchange for a -2 penalty to armor class. The barbarian may use this ability once per day at first level, gaining a further use per day at level 4 and every 4 levels thereafter, extending into epic levels. Rage is not restricted by the +12 cap on ability scores.
At 15th level, the rage ability becomes Greater Rage, giving the barbarian +8 to strength and constitution and +4 to will saves (the -2 penalty to armor class still applies).
At 20th level, the rage ability becomes Mighty Rage, giving the barbarian +12 to strength and constitution and +6 to will saves (the -2 penalty to armor class still applies).
At 21th level, the rage ability becomes Monstrous Rage, giving the barbarian +16 to strength and constitution and +8 to will saves (the -2 penalty to armor class still applies).
At 24th level, the rage ability becomes Herculean Rage, giving the barbarian +20 to strength and constitution and +10 to will saves (the -2 penalty to armor class still applies).
At 28th level, the rage ability becomes Titanic Rage, giving the barbarian +24 to strength and constitution and +12 to will saves (the -2 penalty to armor class still applies).
Uncanny Dodge
Even unaware, the character can defend his or herself with ease. The following benefits are cumulative, but do not stack.
I: The character retains his dexterity bonus to AC, even if caught flat-footed or attacked by a hidden or invisible creature.
II: This feat grants a +1 bonus on reflex saving throws made to avoid traps.
III: This feat grants a +2 bonus on reflex saving throws made to avoid traps.
IV: This feat grants a +3 bonus on reflex saving throws made to avoid traps.
V: This feat grants a +4 bonus on reflex saving throws made to avoid traps.
VI+: This feat grants a +5 bonus on reflex saving throws made to avoid traps.
Epic progression: The uncanny dodge bonus improves by +1 every three levels.
Damage Reduction
Through heavy training and countless blows taken, the barbarian's hide has grown tough enough to turn away a portion of the physical damage taken. This feat reduces all physical damage taken by 1 at at 11th level, increasing by 1 at level 14 and for every three levels thereafter, extending into epic levels.
Epic barbarian
The epic barbarian is a furious warrior who can cut his opponents to ribbons with awe-inspiring ease. He is the very incarnation of rage.
Hit die: d12
Skill points: 4 + int modifier
Bonus feats: The epic barbarian gains a bonus feat every four levels after 20th. In other words, at levels 24, 28, 32, 36, and 40.
Epic bonus feats: armor skin, epic damage reduction, epic prowess, epic toughness, epic weapon focus, great constitution, great strength, mighty rage, overwhelming critical, superior initiative, terrifying rage, thundering rage

Notes
- While barbarians do not receive armor proficiency (heavy), they do not lose any abilities or receive any penalties if they do take the feat and wear heavy armor.
- Activating Barbarian Rage is a free action.
- Barbarian Rage's duration is 7 rounds plus the barbarian's constitution modifier, plus an additional 2 rounds for Greater Rage.
- Should the barbarian be low on hit points when their rage ends, their health can be dropped into the negatives, potentially dying as a result.
- The ability score bonus from Barbarian Rage is not limited by the +12 Cap. In theory. In practice, it isn't entirely working as intended.
- Barbarians can take Great Strength and Great Constitution as Epic Bonus Feats.
