Waukeen is the goddess of coins and wealth on the prime sphere of Toril. She rules over deals done both above and below the table, and believes that mercantile trade is the best road to enrichment. Waukeen frowns upon destroying fine trade goods and favors those who oppose the propagation of malicious rumors that could harm someone's commerce. She holds no enemies apart from Graz'zt, who held her captive during the Time of Troubles, and Mask.
Waukeen's realm is the Marketplace Eternal, which she shares with three other single-sphere powers of trade: Shinare, Sera, and Zilchus. Her quarter, the House of Barter, is devoted to commercial enterprise. Its streets are packed, day and night, with buyers and sellers in a clamorous throng. Commerce is an intoxicating pleasure in its own right, at least in Waukeen's realm.
