Arcane Archer is a warrior skilled in using magic to supplement their combat prowess. Fighters, ranger, paladins and barbarians become arcane archers to add a little magic to their combat abilities. Conversely, wizards and sorcerers may take this prestige class to add combat capabilities to their repertoire.
Requirements
Base Attack Bonus: +6
Feats: Weapon Focus (Longbow or Shortbow), Point Blank Shot
Spellcasting: Able to cast 1st level Arcane spells
Hit Die: d6
Proficiencies: Armor (Light, Medium), Shields, Weapons (Simple, Martial)
Skill Points: 4 + INT
Class Skills: Craft, Concentration, Heal, Knowledge (all), Listen, Lore, Profession (all), Ride, Spellcraft, Spot

- Note: A sorcerer or bard will not be able to learn new spells via leveling up Arcane Archer, they will only gain new spells when leveling up in the base class.

Imbue Arrow
This ability deals 6d10 + 1d6 per every two AA levels in AoE fireball damage, and to a single target, 6d10 magic damage and piercing damage equal to the sum of weapon base damage (d6 for a shortbow or d8 for a longbow), strength modifier, weapon specialization (if applicable), and epic weapon specialization (if applicable). The piercing damage (only) is tripled in the case of a critical hit. The reflex vs fireball DC is 10 + AA level + dex modifier. This ability has an unlimited number of uses with a 1 turn cooldown between uses.
Seeker Arrow
This ability deals 8d10 magic damage, and piercing damage equal to the sum of weapon base damage (d6 for a shortbow or d8 for a longbow), strength modifier, weapon specialization (if applicable), and epic weapon specialization (if applicable). The piercing damage (only) is tripled in the case of a critical hit. Seeker Arrow has a reflex save vs 1 round of knockdown and 75% movement speed reduction for 2 rounds plus 1 round for every two AA levels. The DC is 10 + AA level + dex modifier. This ability has an unlimited number of uses with a 1 turn cooldown between uses.
Hail of Arrows
This ability deals 8d8 magic damage, and piercing damage equal to the sum of weapon base damage (d6 for a shortbow or d8 for a longbow), strength modifier, weapon specialization (if applicable), and epic weapon specialization (if applicable). The piercing damage (only) is tripled in the case of a critical hit. The maximum number of targets is 40. This ability has an unlimited number of uses with a 2 round cooldown between uses.
Arrow of Death
This ability deals 16d12 magic damage and has a fort vs death save. The vs DC is 20 + dex modifier. This ability has an unlimited number of uses with a 2 turn cooldown between uses.
