On every level up, a Psionicist can learn two new powers. These can either be manifestations, or Psionic Feats. These feats allow you to either further specialize into a discipline, expand your PSP Pool or even spend more PSP to augment your powers. Note, that on a level where a character would get a General Feat, they may forego the general feat to either take a psionic feat or a new psionic power. A level 3 character (Where a choice of a general feat becomes available) taking their 3rd level as Psionicist, could take Expansive Mind I, II and III if they wished to. Below is a list of the psionic feats that are available.
Expansive Mind
Prerequisites: None
Can be taken up to five times. Will grant the Psion an increase of 20 PSP to their PSP Pool Capacity. A character that would have a maximum PSP pool of 38 on a given level, would have 58 instead if he had taken Expansive Mind on that level-up.
Psionic Focus
Prerequisites: None
The character receives a +2 to all power checks in the chosen discipline. A version of this feat exists for each discipline, and can be taken twice for each discipline.
Note: At present Power Checks aren't being rolled, so these feats are functionally useless. Do not take them. This might be changed in the future.
Psychic Expertise
Prerequisites:: None
All powers in the chosen discipline have their cost reduced by 10%. A version of this feat exists for each discipline, and can be taken twice for each discipline, totaling a 20% reduction when both are taken.
Discipline of Specialty
Prerequisites: Psionicist 5
The character is effectively 2 levels higher when using powers in the chosen discipline.
Unlike Practiced Spellcaster, this bonus goes above the character's hitdice. A level 20 Psionicist with this feat, would count as a level 22 Psionicist using powers of the discipline chosen.
A version of this feat exists for each discipline. A psion can have more than one discipline of specialty.
Magnify
Prerequisites: Psionicist 5
Magnify allows the psionicist to double the effects of the next power he uses. However, the cost of the power is tripled.
For example, a psion using Magnified Combat Mind, would pay triple the cost, but receive +4 Dodge AC, +4 AB, and +4 Universal Saves for the duration of the power.
Prolong
Prerequisites: Psionicist 5
Prolong allows the psionicist to double the duration of the next power he uses. However, the cost of the power is tripled.
Meditative Focus
Prerequisites: Psionicist 5
Allows the psionicist to momentarily enter a meditative state in which a power check failure is impossible. However, the cost of the power used is doubled.
Note: At present Power Checks aren't being rolled, so these feats are functionally useless. Do not take them. This might be changed in the future.
Harness Subconscious
Prerequisites: Psionicist 5
The Psionicist reaches deep inside himself to tap reserves of strength in his unconscious mind. The next power he uses does not draw from his normal psionic strength points. This power is taxing though and cannot be used more than once per day.
Epic Expansive Mind
Prerequisites: 21st Level, Expansive Mind V
Can be taken up to five times. Will grant the Psion a further increase of 20 PSP to their PSP Pool Capacity.
Epic Psionic Focus
Prerequisites: 21st Level, Psionic Focus II
The character receives a +2 to all power checks in the chosen discipline. A version of this feat exists for each discipline, and can be taken twice for each discipline.
Note: At present Power Checks aren't being rolled, so these feats are functionally useless. Do not take them. This might be changed in the future.
Epic Psychic Expertise
Prerequisites: 21st Level, Psychic Expertise II
All powers in the chosen discipline have their cost further reduced by 10%. This feat can be taken up to 2 times per discipline. This stacks with Psychic expertise, totaling a 40% cost reduction in the chosen discipline. A version of this feat exists for each discipline.
Epic Discipline of Specialty
Prerequisites: 21st Level, Discipline of Specialty
The character is effectively 2 levels higher when using powers in the chosen discipline. This stacks with discipline of specialty for a total +4 boost to the 'caster level' of the psion. A version of this feat exists for each discipline.
