Empirically

Saevio Silverbludgeon is a tall man, towering at six feet. He carries himself with a veteran musculature, distributed in thick but even doses throughout his form. Bulky without appearing overbearing, Saevio marks his step without submission and with his head held high. Black hair, hinting at a light grey, cascades down to his thick trapezius muscles - its complimented by greying scruff found along his face. A scar runs a diagonal length across his lips, noting that they were once split apart.

The years he's stacked are offset by the vigor found in his emerald eyes; a physical feature that makes it impossible to betray his young spirit. It's a noble, uncompromising look that even his ripening age has not been able to catch.

On his left bicep is etched a large, red X. His right bicep depicts a pink sakura flower underneath two crossed silver-hammers.

Historically

Historically, Saevio's an open book. But that doesn't stop people from conjecturing about him over a flagon or two!

Born on Toril and raised by Dwarves, it's not entirely clear to the public ear how he became a foster child. It's said he was a Noble's son, kidnapped and ransomed off to the highest bidder - that happened to be a Duergar. Of course, those dark creatures don't really have exceptional prospects at living a long life. Found by a Dwarven contingency, he was adopted into the Silverbludgeon family and renamed Saevio (which, for those versed in the rough Dwarven dialects means, "tantrum, rage").

It was in Citadel Felbarr that Saevio grew to be a well-adjusted, Dwarven boy...until he started growing taller and taller and suffered a cultural identity-crisis. It was then that he travelled, by his own words, to the country of Cormyr...quoted as "the most mentally deficient place on Toril". It was here that the ceiling for his skill with using and crafting weapons skyrocketed. But alas, he would leave the crappy country behind to move East, towards the actually interesting parts of Faerun. He passed through Rashemen and claims to've joined a Lodge there, only to leave it behind and settle in Shou Lung.

It's 'during' Shou Lung that this story, whether true or false, takes a more sober turn. A man forged with the fires of hate and anger, tempered by his own blood and that of his many enemies...fell in love. A deep love, it was, and none truer. A love that took physical form and produced for him and his woman a beautiful, baby girl. But desiny sought no reprieve for the barbarian as he approached the happy twilight of his life; it shook the snowglobe and caused a storm. Wife and child killed and a man displaced, thrown into the grips of the Multiverse with naught but a baby's blanket and two hammers. This is where we find Saevio Silverbludgeon now, for better or for worse, to face the challenges to come.

Socially

Saevio's a pretty polarizing figure in social politics. While his forthright and open nature endears some, it can alienate others.

His closest relation bears The Machinist as his identity. The two cooperate on equal footing, and Saevio's often referred to him as his closest friend out on the planes. The Machinist made Saevio's drinking flask what it is today, a high-technomagic container capable of cooling any liquid at the flick of a switch. For this, our intrepid barbarian will be forever grateful.

On a note of similar maturity, Saevio and Jocelyn have a mutual respect for one another. Despite their early impressions being defined by a duel of honor to which the Cipher lost, the two often coalesce in mirth and conversation both. The barbarian even forged his friend a dueling gauche. Soon after, he turned a scimitar to black sapphire for a certain jack that's also gained Saevio's appreciation as one of life's many veterans.

Not the only male friend whose bond was bred in battle; he holds a steady alliance with the previous commander of Plague-Mort. That he holds that sociopath in any amicable regard is telling enough of his taste in company - a taste that's often been criticized, especially by the Elf Seluil to whom Saevio holds an obsessive distaste. Along with 'his girlfriend', the barbarian has made two powerful enemies that he might most certainly come to regret in the future.

Luckily, he has a host of close relations to keep him company. Saevio's believed to be the reason a certain woman is no longer allowed in IX. He'd also apparently made public lovers of Moreg, Elianes, and the Sinker Asenath (though luckily at different times!). Saevio bears the half-dragon's broken horn, a sign of their more violent affection for one another and as a trophy from their repeated sparring.

Speaking of dragons, the return of Visenya Theras was welcomed for the barbarian. Although he didn't know her in Ironridge, she seems to have taken a liking to Saevio. Sah'el is another more recent relation; her time with Saevio is considered unique, insofar as she's generally more at ease around him than with other planeswalkers.

Even still, a lot of his time is spent with one of the quieter tenderers in Sigil. He often takes the time to speak with her, walk with her, and some might wonder if their relationship is more than a simple friendship. Similar things are said of Saevio's time with Sigil's most talented dancer, though she's had so much buzz in the past that Saevio might just be another suitor in the gypsy's already long line of admirers.

Saevio may have a small line forming of his own, with Eruca at the head. She's got two modes: either staring at him longingly or trying to look away. She often gets rather shy around the barbarian's mighty pectoral muscles.

Aside from these more distinct relationships, Saevio keeps a close party with planeswalkers like Alec, Aria, Senna, Naaziira, and Joanna when she's around. With Alec, the barbarian is often willing to speak at length on topics that seem simple at the surface, but suggest more as they progress. Mathurin is also one of Saevio's newer allies, considering an unlikely bonding experience that occurred within Carceri of all places.

Darkly

The Foundry's Wayfarer

There's no secret in where Saevio spends a majority of his time: The Foundry. Most Godsmen spend time there, but Saevio assumes an extreme. His penchant for work is exceeded by very few - pounding away at the metal on an anvil or lurched over the intimate form of a woman cast from bronze and clay to sculpt. Having started with the basic metals, Saevio's slowly developed skill in the planar variants - black sapphire, smokesteel, celestial mithril... his eyes are set next for godsteel.

  • It's said Saevio and a small crew of misfits had to broker a deal with a group of Dwarven slavers deep within Dao territory in order to obtain both the smokesteel and the black sapphire. They may have attracted the attention of somebody powerfully connected.
  • Somewhere in the Abyss, a succubus lies slain. A small village of Dwarves on a remote prime have their year's harvest. A talking crocodile in the Beastlands grunts, satisfied. Saevio, in turn, has a large helping of celestial mithril. What generous angels!

Guardian of Gwyllach

Saevio often wears a muted-gold torc around his neck, claiming its origin in Gwyllach. It's been some months that his 'free time' has been engaged by the Outlands village which has now been rebuilt. A memorial statue has been erected with his name in its honors.

Yeenoghu's Proxy

Cruel, vicious. He's tangled with the likes of Yeenoghu's forces before, and it's said that he was begrudgingly enlisted to the Mongrel Lord's service. Since then, Saevio's culled the weaklings amid his faithful to make room for newer, stronger recruits. He's sought to convert both Godsmen and Gwyllach villagers alike in his crusade. It's said the Lord of Savagery seeks Malar's portfolio and power.

A Foul-Minded Alcoholic and Sex Addict

This one speaks for itself.

Assorted Rumors

He's held Aria's tail, and she didn't so much as hit him.

The barbarian knew a certain celebrity rather well before she was famous in the planes.

He impregnated Joanna, but she reached for a coat-hanger faster than you can say "This will mess up my training schedule."

Saevio and Balthazar are planning to excavate various plots in The Outlands for rare, magical minerals to use in a war against the Planes Militant.

He was recently spotted in Nix, which is the last place anyone would expect him to be, taking audience with the Spectre

Saevio is just a husk for his mechanized, sentient flask - which is controlling him for some express purpose unbeknownst to anyone.

He's one of Mack's sprogs, produced from his mighty seed coming into contact with an Ysgardian spirit.

Animals are definitely not ruled out of his lusting habits; he sometimes wears them afterwards.

One of his cousins is a famous, planeswalking legislator.
