Iuz is a cambion who became a demigod on the prime of Oerth. He is the son of the demon prince Graz'zt, and lover and ally of Zuggtmoy. He is one of few powers who makes his realm on a prime sphere, ruling the Empire of Iuz on Oerth directly, ever seeking to conquer more of the plane. He makes pacts with the Abyssal Lords to provide tanar'ri soldiers for his armies.

Iuz feels nothing but hatred for Vecna, and the feeling is mutual. Iuz helped banish Vecna to the Demiplane of Dread, and Vecna absorbed the cambion's essence as part of his bid to escape and become a greater deity.

Originally said to have been an unusually handsome cambion, Iuz now takes one of two forms. He appears either as a gnarled, old human male, or a bloated, red-skinned demonic figure.
