You call up unholy power to smite your enemies. The power takes the form of a cold, cloying miasma of greasy darkness.

The spell deals 1d4 points of damage per caster level (maximim 5d8) to good creatures and reduces their saving throws by 2 for 4 rounds. A successful Will saving throw reduces damage to half and negates the blinding effect. The spell deals only half damage against creatures who are neither good nor evil. They can reduce that damage by half (down to one-quarter) with a successful Will save.
