The target gains a +3 Deflection bonus to their armor class, with an additional +1 bonus for every 10 levels of the caster. The cap on the AC bonus is +4 AC. In order to go above the cap, the caster has to have at least 4 levels in either Cleric, Evangelist or Mystic Theurge. At CL 20 and at least 20 levels, the bonus is +5. At CL 27 and at least 20 levels, the bonus is +6.
Practiced Caster counts for reaching breakpoints, but not for unlocking the base cap.
Racial HD are included as caster levels for the purpose of calculating total caster levels.
