  • She likes spiders.
  • She "owns" a pet seagull named Sanity.
  • She loves meeting and learning about new people.
  • She has issues eating candy and most common food, as it upsets her stomach.
  • Most food to her is often either really sour or really bland.
  • She has never been drunk and is very hard for her to feel the effects of alcohol.

  • Despite being a Cansin, she is lawful, which often leads to her being very unpredictable and impulsive in her decisions.
  • It is common for her to place being good over lawful, though she always does her best to achieve both.
  • Many admire her courage and will to bring order; however, even if it often doesn't end in the most pleasant way, she never gives up.

Prime

The Father

Alyce's childhood was rough; she never knew her mother or if she even had one. But her Father was... well, he wasn't much of a Father to her. Her Father was supposedly a powerful tyrant who claimed to have powers of a god and could "fix" people's problems (it is rumored that he started the problems just to fix them). Alyce was very young when her Father made an exchange to trade her life for another's. In this unofficial disownment, Alyce was offered to a human family who was in need of a cure for their sick and dying child. The proposition was that, in exchange for saving their child's life and curing them of all sickness, they would have to give up their child to The Father and allow him to raise them, while they must raise Alyce and deceive her into believing she was their daughter.

Alyce grew up with her new family, attempting to live a normal life; however, she seemed to have issues with fitting in and making friends. Growing up, she was almost never bullied (possibly because Alyce wasn't worth the trouble) and had little to no issues with living out her childhood. Her adopted parents were very modest and were considered middle class. Her adopted father was a local road guard, assisting in keeping the roads safe and clear of debris and crime. Her adopted mother was a tailor who had a wonderful eye for fashion. She grew up being taught by her adopted father on how to cook, hunt, fight, and tend to wounds. And her adopted mother taught her important skills, like manners (somewhat), cleaning, and fashion. As she grew, so did her talents and skills, but also her curiosity and excitement about solving situations. She would often go around helping other kids and students with their issues and even played detective in finding things for people. She got caught one day attempting to break into a restricted area, trying to reclaim someone's doll they lost (she managed to return the doll, but she was swiftly scolded by her adopted parents afterwards).

Alyce's curiosity knew no bounds or limits, as she often got into situations where she would most likely end up in trouble or in danger (it also wouldn't help that she would often tell the truth, which in turn caused her parents to find out). She grew up not knowing she was a cansin but could always sense that something was off and that she was different from others. One day her cansin instincts kicked in, and she suddenly had an urge to explore a castle one day. This very castle was, in fact, the one she was born in. Snooping around in the halls and exploring it while avoiding getting caught, she was excited and fascinated to actually be inside of a castle for once. But Alyce being Alyce, she eventually got caught. After being caught, she was brought before The Father, and he looked upon her with...disgust. It was clear he recognized her, but of course Alyce didn't know anything at the time. Her parents begged and pleaded to retrieve her and to keep her in line. The Father allowed it, but only this one time.

Alyce was kept on a more strict schedule, being forced to work and use her skills for an actual job. She was assigned to assist her mother in tailoring duties, but it was very clear she wasn't the best at it, being clumsy and making plenty of mistakes. Her mother eventually got annoyed with her and thought it would be better to let her father attempt to keep her in check. But it turns out that even a simple task, such as watching a road, proved to be difficult. She was restless and hated sitting in one spot for long; she often would take off and force her father to leave his post to go find her. Eventually it got to a point where they were out of ideas when it came to containing her. The best decision they could come up with was to send her to train with the other recruits and soldiers of the local militia while they worked; maybe they could whip her into shape (oh boy... were they wrong). She caused as much chaos there as she did at home, getting yelled at and even being punished through different forms of drills and tasks (cleaning and hard labor).

Another issue was how emotional Alyce got when she was scolded. When someone were to yell at her, she would often cry or run off angrily. She was very much unable to control her emotions at a young age. Though she got angry, she never laid a finger on anyone without a proper cause (and anyone who laid a hand on her got the wrath of many angry soldiers who would die to protect one of their own troop's child). Alyce was well loved and protected; they treated her like their actual daughter, and eventually the reality of Alyce becoming their true daughter finally set in. Until Alyce found out, of course... A cansin is going to cansin, and she somehow found a way to sneak back into The Father's castle and got caught...again. This time, The Father didn't go easy on her and beat her a little for trespassing. Angrily and concerned, her parents rushed in to protect her but were also punished for allowing Alyce to disrespect The Father again. Alyce had this sense that he was hiding something, and she wanted to find it. After biting one of the guards and almost killing one with a swing of a sword, she took off in search of something...whatever it was that was attracting her. She eventually came and found a chamber filled with stars and beauty, many different forms of shapes and fragments. Her brain was unable to fully comprehend what she saw, but the importance of it was obviously not something she could figure out with a simple glance. The guards were on her tail, and she needed a way to escape and possibly figure out what that room was. She managed to escape, but not without some fault. Her parents were still inside of the castle, being held prisoner, and she needed to rescue them. So she devised a plan and gathered some tools and supplies and snuck back into the castle. Again...this is Alyce we are talking about...she was clumsy, so she easily alerted the guards, but Alyce fought back, almost kicking their asses, before she was knocked down. She used the environment to her advantage, using it as cover and to block the blows from the guards. She managed to rebalance herself and defeated the guards (this wasn't the first time she killed someone...a long story for another time...but it was still very grim and scary to see). She fought her way through and found her parents in an attempt to rescue them. But another was lurking...waiting...ready to pounce. The sibling grabbed Alyce by the throat and slammed her into the wall, smashing her head open. Alyce's father grabbed her blade and reluctantly fought the sibling, only to lose and be gutted and killed by their own child. Their mother's cries and fury as she attempted to tend to Alyce and then fight her child. She too failed as she was beheaded and killed. Alyce watched, unable to move or react in paralysis from the damage. She witnessed both her parents die before her, at the hands of their by blood child. The sibling grabbed her, flinging her down the hall, dragging her to The Father's chamber. They picked her up and forced her to stare The Father in the eyes. Alyce in this moment felt angry, beyond anything she felt before. She tried to fight, but she couldn't move, as her spine was broken, and one last cry of agony shot out of her.

She awoke the next day in a cell, covered in blood (some hers, some her parents), but fully healed. Confused and still in some bits of pain, she attempted to find a way out but only ended up hurting herself more. She was alive, but what for? She eventually was forcefully dragged out of her cell and into that same room filled with stars and shapes. It was there her Father revealed to her the secret he kept from her, about her life, about her parents, about the sibling. But a question lingered in her mind... why? Why do this? Why cause this much pain in her life? Why beat her and kill her parents? What is he hiding, and why do this? She doesn't know...nor does anyone other than The Father himself know. As for how Alyce arrived in Sigil, that was a mystery too. Alyce was broken by this moment; The Father released her back into the world where she lived alone, wandering and in search of truth. Tired of the burden of living, she requested that The Father kill her and end her misery. He refused and instead tortured her, inflicting more pain upon her than she could bear. The questions of why and the purpose are still unknown. How did Alyce get to Sigil? Why did The Father do this? What is his goal? Alyce may never truly know.

Rosoth (Concordia)

Concordia is a Prime that was located and founded upon, by a young couple (rumor has it, that a Harmonium and a Godsmen ran away together) from Sigil. Their main focus was an attempt to recreate Sigil, but in a place where it could have the potential to become a paradise. Concordia had a variety of flora and fauna that went through a cycle of four seasons (Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall). Most of Concordia was covered in forest or mountains, and the atmosphere was evidently the same as most others. Food and farms were common and very easy to maintain, there was plenty of rich and fertile soil for a variety of crops to grow. Animals were roughly the same kind you would find in most forest and mountain places. Concordia had an eerie lack of natural disasters and storms, though rain was common, there was no record of any thunder or lightning ever occurring. The day and night cycle of Concordia, was also different from most other primes. The sun (there are many theories on what the sun of Concordia is, however no one truly knows how the sun actually works) would rise and set, but at night, no moon or stars would appear in the darken teal sky. A few years after successfully building civilization and getting a working society on Concordia, mages and scholars, discovered that the prime was slowly being consumed by the Astral, and that the Crystal Sphere of the prime, was somehow smaller than most other prime worlds (it is commonly theorized that space travel was impossible, due to the size of the sphere and the possible location of it). Many mages and engineers (there is a rumor that one of the mages, was a very intelligent Artificer, who helped invent and automate most of their society) that came with the founders, attempted to use magic to prevent the destruction of the prime. Overtime new technology and machines were built to prevent the prime from being consumed. Due to the mysteries of the planes, and the uncertainty of the situation, a widespread ban of arcane magic was enacted upon the whole of Concordia, and to ensure a Clueless or a Planeswalker didn't accidentally stumble onto the prime and start flinging around magic, they opted into creating anti-magical devices that made the entire prime disassociated from any form of arcane spellcasting (divine and elemental magic was still useable, however many clerics and shamans would find that their magic would often react poorly to the anti-magical blockers or sometimes a spell may just fizzle). Those with magic in their bloodlines, would slowly overtime start to get sick from the anti-magical blockers, and that sickness soon spread to non-magical bloodlines, causing the whole of Concordia to be effected by a anti-magical plague. Overtime, the people of Concordia adapted to the anti-magic blockers, and newer generations wouldn't be sickened by the blockers and would be immune to anyone with the sickness, however a side-effect of being born and raised on Concordia, is that anyone who attempted to wield arcane magic, either through blood or weave, was unable to, no matter if they were on the prime or not. Many were capable of circumventing this, by using divine or elemental magic, however a few mining operations allowed the people of Concordia, to discover a rare crystal (information on these crystals are still very limited and unknown), that allowed for those effected by the plague, to wield some forms of arcane magic. After Concordia had a grasp on keeping the Astral from consuming it, and the control of magic was fully operational, a sudden realization kicked in for the residents and people of Concordia. A lack of magic, means a lack of portals, therefore, they had cut themselves off from most other planes. Some portals would open on their own from time to time, but they were often unreliable and were kept guarded by the Paladins of Concordia. (Oi, berk! Wanna hear a barmy rumor? Many say that the militia on Concordia are actually all machines and constructs, dressed up as paladins. They disguise their machines and make them pretend to be like us, but in actuality, they aint got no heart or soul behind those helmets).

Rosoth was the capital of Concordia, and the main base of operations for the founders. It was a traditionally ran monarchic kingdom, similar to ones you may find on Arcadia or Toril. This is also the birthplace of Alyce. Rosoth was very similar in concept to Sigil, but had a lack of trade and connections with most other planes. The technology of Rosoth was next to none compared to most other places (many have tried to speculate or theorize on how advance Rosoth got, but since Concordia was heavily isolated, many never truly got a chance to witness or got a full understanding of it's advancements), even to ones you would find outside of the prime. Technology and advancement blossomed and bloomed in Rosoth, due to many attempting to save the prime from it's destruction (no barmy knows why, they just for some reason really didn't want to let the place go). Despite the prosperity of technology and engineering, this resulted in many people being constantly busy and focused on work, maintaining the structure and performance of the machines and creations. The lack of enjoyment and entertainment, and the constant workload, caused many to be born and perish without ever knowing or doing anything other than maintenance on Concordia.

Rosoth was not the only settlement and kingdom on Concordia, there were a few others, but records of them have been lost (for now). Many smaller villages and towns did exist, including one directly outside of Rosoth, in which Alyce's adopted parents resided. Many farms and fields were spread out across Concordia, and the mountains saw to many mineshafts and quarries. A fishing village or two, were also known to exist.

Agent of Harmony

Princess of Harmony

  • Alyce has been on a constant mission to dismantle and destroy the Vile Hunt, viewing them not only as a threat to Harmony, but also the natural order of law and life. She has managed to release many petitioners and animals from their poaching camps, and even liberated a town that they had occupied. She assisted on destroying a Vile Hunt vessel off the shore of the Aspodaez coast, and is currently hunting a known Walker who is active in the Vile Hunt and related to the captain of the ship she helped destroy. She can often be seen in the forest of Faunel, tracking down and locating key Vile Hunt figures and camps.
  • The Harmonium alongside a group of Walkers, took down and defeated a threat known as the "Composer", an evil musician who had powerful music and magic that effected those either lawful or musical and used it to murder people during a performance in Fortitude. (Alyce was late to the whole show, but was present in the final fight against the "Composer".)
  • Alyce has witnessed the return and wrath of the Lady. The sight of the Lady, has filled Alyce with the courage to become a leader, and to guide as many people to Harmony as she can.

The Scarlett Stag

"Turn stag: To betray somebody or use treachery. Saying "he turned stag" is about the worst thing that can be said about a cutter." - Sigil Cant

Alyce had originally became a badged Indep, apart of the Free League while in Sigil. She grew up alone, and believed that her destiny was truly to be alone. Despite her mental status, and the curse inflicted upon her by her Father, Alyce sought to unite people of all variety together, in order to create the perfect family. From the moment she awoken in Sigil, she saw an opportunity to start anew and to form something she has always wanted. Many may claim it was her impulsive nature being a cansin that decided the change from Indeps to Harmonium. But the dark is; Alyce was always a Harmonium, even if she didn't know it yet, her path was chosen even before her Father had thrown her away. Her experience and departure from the Indeps wasn't a mistake, nor was it something for her to regret. Alyce doesn't allow being a "Stag" to impact her life or who she is in the Harmonium. She may ware scars that reflect her decisions and past, however she will always admit that it was a choice she made for the better. Despite having a number of Indeps throwing stones at her, she never holds it against them or goes out of her way to make their lives worst. Alyce does what she can to allow the Indeps a place in Harmony, despite their need and belief in independence. She doesn't agree with them or believe that their power in self is strong enough, but she only attempts to show them the truth of Harmony and holds the door open for any who wishes to seek it.

Of course, most don't realize this, but Alyce's "Stag" goes deeper than a simple switching of beliefs. Alyce has attempted to diverge from her chaotic nature of being a cansin. Arguments could be made that her decision to become lawful was because of a chaotic impulse. However, it would be nearly impossible to provide evidence of such if it were true, especially since Alyce appears to be fully confident in her decisions and actions upon joining the Harmonium. Many who side with chaos or were born from it, view Alyce as a traitor and brainwashed or deceived by their "false promises of order and peace, disguised as tyranny". Many wish to see Alyce fail to find order within herself, a few waiting to see if order would reject Alyce and destroy her, or have Alyce suddenly jolt back into chaos. Despite what others may be praying or wishing for, Alyce is dedicated on upholding the law and leading the chaos within herself into order.

One thing is certain, though: this was Alyce's decision, made of her own free will. To call her a stag would be wrong. Despite her flaws and occasional foolishness, she will fight to prove that her choice was made with the intent to improve lives, not worsen them.

Faithful Skeptic

Concordia never had any specific set of powers or gods watching over it. Many clerics and priests attempted to bring shrines and churches of their powers to her prime, but it was never enough to warrant a powers full arrival or attention, at most it was a few blessings or possibly even curses. Alyce was exposed to many powers, but similar to her human parents, she never got too deep into faith to truly find a power that resonated with her. Now that Alyce has grown in Sigil, she has managed to see and discover new powers and their beliefs across the planes.

A Lady Full of Knowledge

Isis, Lady of Knowledge. At first, Alyce believed it was Thoth who was guiding her toward order. But after a profound experience in the Outlands, wisdom and clarity flooded her mind, and a radiant motherly presence embraced her, a force of protection, hope, and understanding. Without Isis, Alyce might have remained lost in the darkness and chaos of her soul. Yet the goddess has opened a door, allowing Alyce to grow, to evolve, and to deepen her understanding of the arcane arts that have long eluded her grasp. Though she still struggles to fully understand her purpose, every step she takes leads her closer to love and Harmony. She longs to be part of a true family, to be cherished by those who recognize her worth. But despite her desires, she dedicates herself to a higher calling: defending and fighting for love and knowledge. Alyce’s strength does not lie in brute force or wealth but in wisdom, in creation, in the power to shape and inspire. There is still much for her to uncover; hidden truths, unformed ideas, and secrets waiting to be revealed. Whether she walks as a mother, a sister, or simply as the child she once was, Alyce stands proud of who she is. And no one will deny her the destiny that has been chosen.

A Bird Full of Knowledge

Thoth, The King of Knowledge. Alyce’s first divine encounter was with Thoth, the wise and candid god who spoke to her with an openness she had never known. Moved by his honesty, she placed her faith in him, and under his guidance, she now follows the path of his sister, Isis. Through Thoth’s wisdom, Alyce aspires to become both a teacher and a guide, passing on his teachings to help others find their own purpose and harmony in life. With the knowledge and insight he bestows, she seeks to craft and expand upon the wonders of science and technology across the multiverse. She wears his symbols with pride, embracing her place among his flock as a devoted disciple. Though she knows she is still young and has much to learn, she refuses to let that hinder her pursuit of truth. After all, trial and error is the essence of growth, especially for a cansin like her.

An Imperial Among Olympians

Janus (The Guardian of Gates), is one of the main powers Alyce has dedicated herself to. As a Gatecrasher and a Harmonium, she believes it is her responsibility to not abuse the power she is capable of wielding and use it to ensure portals and doors are not messed with or tampered with. Despite being a Crasher, Alyce doesn't use her power just to open and manipulate portals, but also to ensure that portals are properly used and aren't completely tampered with. Inside of Sigil, the Lady ensures someone doesn't mess with her portals, but Alyce is always on the watch in case someone does attempt to do such, or if a unnoted portal does appear, she can keep record of it.

A God which Alyce is still studying would be Mithras (The Patron of Soldiers). Alyce is now a soldier and agent of the Harmonium, having a power who can help her with discipline and warfare is important to her. Alyce lacks in discipline often, and is something she is trying to improve. Her skills as a soldier and a loyal one at that, is on par if not above more than others. She understands war and knows when it is needed and when it is not. Her tactics and skills often lean more towards honorable, but she isn't afraid of revealing some tricks up her sleeve if need be. There are many more in the Pantheon which Alyce studies or worships, over time she may look to strengthen their bonds deeper than before.

Undying Resilience

Ilmater, The Broken God. Alyce adores Ilmater and his teachings, without him, Alyce would have never have grown to her pain and move on from her scars. Alyce is often broken or beaten down for what she is. Despite the constant beatings and attacks, Alyce picks herself up and fights again. Over time her faith in Ilmater has grown, as she believes it is with him that she is capable of truly resisting death, as long as her purpose is still focused towards Harmony and peace. She doesn't believe she is invincible, but she does believe that no matter what threat attempts to consume or destroy her, she will find a way to return, until either order is maintained, or until her death truly forms a martyr. Her endurance to never give up comes from Ilmater, and she won't give up, even if the pain is unbearable. She will cry, she will fight, she will bleed, but she will never give up.

The Crystal

The crystal that Alyce uses inside of her vambrace.
The crystal that Alyce uses inside of her vambrace.

Curiosity is one of many feelings that drives Alyce. She often dreams up ideas and tools to use on her journey, a very creative mind who likes to tinker with the environment and items around her. One of the few things that she managed to bring from her prime is an odd crystal that is filled with some sort of unfamiliar energy. Studying and researching the crystal, Alyce had found very little on what the crystal is or if there was a possibility of finding it beyond her prime. A couple of theories she has cooked up is: it could be one of a kind, or a very rare material, maybe it is artificial, or some sort of a ancient resource. Despite the limited knowledge and lack of information, while traveling and exploring the planes, she managed to find other crystals with properties similar to the one of her crystal, though not exact, it was just enough to help narrow down what exactly her crystal could be. After doing some experimentation and playing around with it, she found traces of magic hidden within the crystal, that when activated, is capable of manipulating and dampening the environment around her. Not only was the crystal able to remove magic, it was capable of summoning portals and even bending them, by opening, closing, or even redirecting their location. Overtime she learned how to harness the power and even adapted it to her everyday use as both a Planeswalker and Agent of Harmony. The power grew and so did she, as both her and the crystal soon were in tune with each other, a perfect sync. Attaching the crystal to her vambrace and overtime adding on upgrades and modifications to it, she was now able to classify herself as a Gatecrasher.

School of the Inert

Magic has always intrigued Alyce, though not as something she wishes to wield in her daily life. To her, magic is a tool, one that is often too dangerous, unpredictable, or uncontrollable for most. She does not hate magic, nor does she believe it should be eradicated (though the thought of removing it from mortal hands has crossed her mind more than once). Instead, she believes magic must have rules, limits, and accountability.

Born and raised on Concordia, Alyce is incapable of becoming a wizard or wielding arcane power to its fullest. However, limitations have never stopped her. Through ingenuity and persistence, she has found ways to circumvent her natural disadvantage, crafting magical devices that can store and activate spells and rituals. Though she lacks innate magical talent, both arcane and spiritual, this does not grant her immunity to magic. If anything, it makes her more vulnerable; spells wound her more deeply, their effects more difficult to resist. Yet Alyce is nothing if not adaptable. Through experience and relentless study, she has learned to counter magic, developing resistance to certain spells and forms of enchantment, skills honed through her mastery of Gatecrashing and her struggles on the path to becoming an Inquisitor.

Alyce is no wizard, but she is, without question, an Artificer, a title she claims with pride. For her, crafting magical objects, storing power in tools, weapons, and mechanisms, is second nature. Yet magic itself twists strangely in her presence, as if reacting to her chaotic nature as a cansin. (The specifics of this effect remain unknown to most, as Alyce rarely speaks of it, even among her closest allies.)

Under the guidance of Isis and Thoth, Alyce may yet unlock deeper potential, perhaps even wielding magic she was once incapable of using. She refers to her affliction as "The Inertia" and believes it to be the key to something new, but as to what, still remains a mystery.

The Sergeant walks towards her workshop, her mimir close behind her, ambiently ticking and skittering along. She opens the door and immediately three unfamiliar faces quickly stand to attention from their current positions. Alyce takes a moment blinking behind her helmet, her gaze slowly moving from each person. A slightly chunky dwarf with dark hair and a short dark beard, light-tan skin, with dark green eyes, was the first to speak energetically in a very thick dwarven accent; "Oi, me fine lady! Magmus Moltenhandle's me name, but ye can just call me Mag! We're here, all bellowin' and crashin', to lend ye a hand with yer work." Alyce stands there a bit hesitantly at first, before giving a few firm nods followed by a quick shaking of her head to the dwarf. "My work? I-I never asked for help?" Alyce said a bit confused, attempting to figure out who these people are, and what exactly is going on. Another person speaks up, a short tiefling, her hazel hair was cut short and her skin was a tan color, with a tint of yellow. Her eyes were a soft purple. She had a tail, but her tail seemed to have bandages wrapped around it in certain parts; "We...uhm...received a letter that you needed some assistance in your craft and inventions...I hope you don't mind us being here, we showed the guards the letters and they allowed us inside, they brought us to the workshop." Alyce took a deep breath, she then slowly takes off her helmet and gazes upon them. "A letter? I never sent any letters out-" She paused for a moment, before looking towards her mimir, Arac sort of shuffled a bit and looked up at her. "Arac." She said somewhat sternly. "Yes, Sergeant?" he chirped in a smug manner, his English mechanical voice distorted, yet clear. She sighed picking up the mechanical spider. "You overheard me talking to myself in my workshop again, didn't you?" The mimir just sat in her hand, his legs dangling. "I thought you could use the help." She chuckled shaking her head, before turning back towards the others, she looks at the last one who hasn't spoken a word yet. A mature human male, short silver hair and some facial hair, and appeared to have a scar across his throat, he stares at Alyce with hazel eyes. Mag speaks up once more; "That's just Ethen, he doesn't speak much." Ethen nods to Alyce, crossing his arms watching them converse. "And my name is Byzzi, it's short for Byzantium." The tiefling said bowing towards Alyce. "You three are willing to work with me on my projects?" Alyce asks. All three of them agreed and soon Alyce and her three new employees, went over the paperwork and general structure.

Mag, Byzzi, and Ethen work alongside Alyce; as assistants/crafters/engineers/inventors/alchemist/scientist, they are to be her three most trusted assistants/workers. The goal is for them to work alongside Alyce, and help her build creations from her past that she recovered from her [Prime Material Plane|prime]. There is also plans to help create and invent new ones, that could help positively improve the planes and Sigil. Currently they base their operations in Excelsior, inside of a workshop located in the Scarlett Stronghold.

Codes & Oath

"If Factol Sarin must brand me a heretic, then so be it, for I choose harmony, not war. I am no unthinking construct, no mere soldier to be commanded. I am a guide, a keeper of peace, a servant of harmony itself. I do this not for Sarin, not for any single ruler or lawgiver, but for the vision that binds us all.

I am no longer Alyce Scarlett, the Scarlett Stag. No longer a Notary searching for purpose, nor a lone cansin seeking salvation. We are more than names, more than ranks, more than the sum of our pasts. We are hope. We are peace. We are harmony. We are the Harmonium.

Lay down your blades, for war will not bring us peace. Only faith, faith in unity, in the strength of our ideals, will prove our cause just. Stand together, my brothers and sisters, or fall in an unwinnable war against the very truth we swore to uphold.

This is the way. This is hope. This is peace. This is love. This is unity. This is the Harmonium." - A entry from Alyce's hidden journal.

1. The Law is a Light, Not a Chain "Let law be a lantern in the darkness, guiding the lost home, not a shackle upon the free."

  • Law is meant to protect, uplift, and inspire, never to crush the spirit.
  • I will enforce the law only when it serves justice, not out of blind adherence.
  • When laws fail to serve the greater good, I will seek to reform them, not break them.

2. Strength is Measured by Mercy "To wield a sword is easy. To sheathe it in the face of anger, to extend a hand instead, that is strength."

  • I will always seek peace before violence, and only draw steel as a last resort.
  • Justice must be tempered with understanding, redemption is often more powerful than punishment.
  • I will give second chances to those willing to walk the path of order.

3. Unity is Built on Trust, Not Fear "A people united by fear is not harmony, it is tyranny. True order is born from faith, not force."

  • I will lead by example, inspiring others to follow the law because they believe in it.
  • I will never use fear, cruelty, or coercion to achieve peace.
  • My duty is to guide, teach, and uplift—never to rule over others.

4. The Innocent Must Always Be Shielded "If one must stand between chaos and the weak, let it be me."

  • I will protect the defenseless, even if it means placing myself in harm’s way.
  • I will not allow law to be twisted into a weapon against the innocent.
  • My shield belongs to the people, not to power.

5. No Soul is Beyond Redemption "Even the wayward can find their place in the grand harmony, if they are shown the way."

  • I will always offer a path to redemption before resorting to punishment.
  • I will not judge by past sins, but by the desire to change.
  • I will aid those who strive for betterment, regardless of their origins.

6. I Am a Servant of Peace, Not a Master of Men "To bring harmony is to serve, not to rule."

  • I will never let my duty become pride, nor let power corrupt my purpose.
  • I will listen, learn, and adapt, true order is living, not rigid.
  • My goal is not to command others into harmony, but to help them find it themselves.

"I am the voice of reason where there is conflict. I am the shield of the innocent where there is suffering. I am the hand that lifts where others would strike. I am the Harmonium, not as a hammer, but as a beacon of peace."

Family & Relations

Trust

"I have learned a lot from my experiences, this pain is something not even a Sensate would want. I have placed my trust in too many outside of Harmony, even among allies whom I would call a friend. Syp was the only one who saw my brokenness, who understood my pain. Because he listened, he cared, more so than anyone else ever has, even now that he is gone, I miss him, he was my...best friend, truly a fool but a brother."

By Blood

"My Father and my adopted parents may be dead, but my sibling still lives, lost, alone, wandering the planes in search of truth. I pray he finds his way into peace, for I know if he finds me, he will only want one thing; redemption."

The Harmonium

"There is only one truth; The Harmonium."

Despite Alyce's lack of a real family, the Harmonium serves as her new family, granting her the love and affection she has forever craved. She hopes that overtime, she will find those inside of Harmony to grow closer with and finally feel apart of a whole. Alyce looks up to Sarin and has a ton of respect for him. She also wants to connect more with his wife, Faith, and hopes to see them both as parental figures in her life.

Alhai Opra

"I will honor your words and focus on becoming the Measure you have trained me to become."

Alhai was like an elder sister to Alyce, her guide, her shield. Without Alhai, Alyce wouldn’t have come this far. Now, she pours everything into becoming a Measure, not just to honor her memory, but to see Alhai’s final orders fulfilled.

Felonia Lonbart

"Fel and I can relate to how we each feel, about being lonely and uncertain on our path forward. She is a fool, quite like myself, but I care about her."

Alyce first encountered Fel after finding her unconscious in the Andorian. Acting quickly, she stabilized Fel and brought her to the Shattered Temple, where she learned Fel was a Factotum of the Athar. From that moment, their paths often intertwined. The two worked together on various projects, completing writs and taking on assignments for the guilds.

Alyce came to view Fel as an older sister, adopting a dynamic of playful teasing and lighthearted taunts balanced by unwavering support for Fel’s adventures and challenges. Despite Alyce’s desire to grow closer, their relationship was marked by moments of tension—frequent disagreements over ideas and beliefs would push them apart just as they began to connect.

During a war in the Outlands, Fel distanced herself from Alyce, offering little more than a cold shoulder. Yet, as the war neared its conclusion, the two reconciled, setting aside their differences and rekindling their bond. Though rumors persist that they remain close, it is rare to see them together in public, their friendship now something quieter, forged in private moments and shared understanding.

"He was once my bestfriend and my therapist, now he is just a reminder that I am still very young."

Connor of the Stand

"Connor...I'm sorry. I hurt you, and I can never fix what I have broken. You are my one regret, you gave me a home, and I have made you felt abandoned. Hopefully you will understand that despite our beliefs, that we can be close once again."

Connor and Alyce’s relationship is fraught with complexity. Alyce felt a deep, almost instinctive pull toward Connor, drawn to his fatherly demeanor and protective nature. To her, he seemed like the guardian she never knew she needed.

From Alyce's perspective, she recognizes the pain she has caused Connor, a man who had already endured the heartbreak of leaving one family behind only to find another. Yet, Alyce believes that her actions, though hurtful, are for a greater purpose. She sees herself as a unifier, striving to bring everyone together, and wishes Connor could understand her intentions.

In the public eye, rumors swirl that Connor and Alyce despise one another. Their heated exchanges and stark disagreements fuel the gossip. Yet behind closed doors, a quieter truth exists: the two secretly work to protect each other from harm, ensuring neither falls victim to a blade's edge.

Alyce has dreamt of a darker possibility, a vision of herself and Connor locked in a fierce duel, with only one of them emerging alive. The dream’s outcome remains shrouded in uncertainty, leaving Alyce tormented. She prays fervently that this nightmare never comes to pass, clinging to the hope that their bond, no matter how strained, will not be severed by violence.

Izk Five-of-Days

"Words can not describe how much you have hurt me. You've willingly allowed chaos into your heart. I only blame myself for what you have been granted to do."

Izk and Alyce shared a brief but profound connection. For Alyce, meeting Izk was like finding her opposite reflection, someone who, at every turn, mirrored her in unexpected ways. Overwhelmed by the joy of discovering a kindred spirit who could understand her thoughts and ideas, Alyce let her guard down.

But their bond was fraught with tension. Izk longed to escape the constraints of order, while Alyce sought refuge within its boundaries. Their opposing desires made conflict inevitable. Sensing this, Izk recoiled, retreating from Alyce to avoid the clash she feared would shatter them both.

Alyce, distraught and unmoored by Izk's withdrawal, lashed out. Her words were sharp and cruel, laced with insults and threats of "harmony" as if it were a weapon. But the moment the words left her lips, the weight of her mistake crashed down upon her. Those around Alyce began to doubt her sincerity, her emotions, her very essence.

Before she met Izk, Alyce had vowed a life of chastity, a promise she had made to maintain control over herself. Yet after this rupture, she swore a deeper vow: to never again allow herself to be romantically entangled. It was a prophecy she had once tried to avoid, but now embraced as a grim necessity. Each step she took was heavy with regret, a constant reminder of what she had lost, but she believed it was the only way to preserve the fragile order within her soul.

Velcyra Karkhuul

"You're never alone."

Velcyra and Alyce had formed an unlikely friendship. When Alyce set out to host the Ball of Love and Unity; a structured celebration of family and partnership, Velcyra, with her own vision of freedom, planned the Headbashers' Ball around the same time. Though their events stood in contrast, their paths intertwined in unexpected ways.

Their connection formed quietly, built on support where few others had offered it. Alyce lent her eye for fashion, while encouragement and hope passed between them in ways neither had expected. Against all odds, a bond took shape. They attended each other’s events, spending more time together than many had anticipated. Rumors swirled that they had even shared a dance after one of the gatherings, and those who lingered late saw them departing long after the rest.

Dark: Alyce truly cares for Velcyra, no matter how others may view their friendship. Some might call her barmy for it, but she refuses to give up hope. She wants Vel to find peace, to know the comfort of a family that truly supports her. Whether or not she ever wears red is irrelevant; so long as Vel upholds order and helps maintain peace, Alyce will never call her an enemy.
