Biography

((--The Bio Is Due For Heavy Updates Soon To Come, some inaccuracies, and current time updates are needed, general side information all accurate and fixed--2/25/2020))

Velindilieth, born to his wood elven mother and father in a village of outcast Wood Elves who had chosen a unfavorable and dark lifestyle. The elves of this village were lorded over by a great wyrm, a green known as Rez'quildilok, who had long since bent the elves to his will. The elves were allowed to exist under his protection as long as they provided goods and treasures to his hoard, and large portions of their trade. Of course, he also heavily valued the many deposits of the rare star metal Adamantine surrounding where the Elves would build their village, and utilized them to harvest and forge it into the most worthy of treasures for himself.

Of course over time, the Elves would come to worship this dragon, his ways, his guidance.. Awed by his power and his magificence, the elves were eventually entirely subsumed to the great green, who is turn decided to cement his legacy and power in the village by destroying the mind of one of the elven maidens of the village, raping and impregnating her with what would be his half-dragon son who would become the lord of the village and be known as Nez'nulinok. This half-dragon over many years would sire several family lines within the village, who would give birth to more sons, who would eventually give birth to Velindilieth's generation.

At this point, the great dragon, and his half-dragon son aspired for much greater dominance in the High Forests.. The great green was a potent arcanist himself, and he had tutored his son into becoming a great sorcerer in his own right. But they recognized the power of magic, and the power of blood, and one by one, sifted through each family line that had been sired, attempting to stir the magic within them to emerge, and for their descendants to become disciples, half-dragons. Sometimes single lines were tutored and tested, other times, multiple at the same time were- but unknown to each line, the ones that failed to produce any potential, were oftentimes destroyed and slaughtered. Eventually, Velindilieth's line along with a few others came to be recognized.

For most of Velindilieth's lifespan, 90 years, he has undergone vicious training, many trials from his great grandfather alongside his relatives.. Vel has watched a few die from the training.. None succeeding.. While he had his family, his mother and father to comfort him, and he made many friends, much of his days were filled with grueling training, magical experimentation, and "conditioning" which often involved various methods of torture, or punishment, such as being the reason why much of his body used to be covered in a scar carved by claw for each year of his life.

Despite all this, the elf was raised to value draconic ways and beauty above all else, the elves of his village, and himself did not think as elves did, they were wholly dedicated to their draconic lord, and the deities of dragons. Dragons were perfection in their eyes, and to Vel, why should anything else compare? He grew to though be calm and kind from his parents, also vain, unstable, and unnerving indifferent to right and wrong, even lacking perceptions of right and wrong, often having to be educated by others on what is truly so.

For many years he grew, during the time, his ancestor, the great wyrm would meet its death at the hands of a powerful priest, Vel would grow only to be more dedicated to his path, and eventually, a calamity struck. Vel's parents in their youth had left the village, and sought out adventure, during that time being enslaved in Calimshan, and escaping the slavery through revolt.. During Velindilieth's 90th year, the pasha who had owned his parents, and the many slaves that they helped escape, along with the estate that they burned had finally decided to seek revenge.. The Pasha a most influential, wealthy man, alongside being a immensely powerful Sorceror... Who had prolonged his years way beyond normal measures.

This Pasha, had payed a rather notorious and powerful orc tribe to attack Velindilieth's village, now unprotected by his draconic ancestor, and his great grandfather, who mysteriously a few months before the attack had departed the village, Faerun entirely even, having decided that he must seek further enlightenment himself before returning to teach more.. The Village was vulnerable.. The orc tribe struck under the cover of potent magic from the pasha, crushing everything in their path, the Pasha himself marching through the village casting great spells of flame and ruin upon everything within sight.. Reducing Velindilieth's home to ash and dust.. Killing everyone, sparing nobody..

Velindilieth himself, had decided to flee.. Escaping to the borders of his village only then did the gravity of his cowardly act hit him.. He looked down the hill at the burning homes, the menacing figures of orcs dragging people into the paths, the wicked smile of the Pasha as he kept himself elevated above the village, casually hurling lethal spells at those unfortunate enough to catch his gaze. Velindilieth realized he had abandoned his family to die.. He hadn't even thought to find them and save them. He had a baby sister, only a few months old, he could have recovered her from where she had been left.. In their home, of which Vel could see a burning heap of rubble now, knowing his parents were dead long before they could have reached it.

This act of cowardice, and the realization of just how much he lost, the recognition of his cowardice, and the sudden traumatic shock, altered Vel eternally. He would bury his pain, his loss beneath a wave of emotions and youthful energy. Vel would flee his home, only to find himself falling.. And awakening within Airions Boarding House.. His Life in Sigil beginning..

In the time he has been there, he has changed in more ways than imaginable. From exploring all manners of planes in the multiverse, to making many friends, both dark, and light, and growing in power in immense ways, to entering the servitude of the green dragon Visenya, from there unlocking the power of his blood and eventually over time ascending to become a full half-dragon, no longer a mere elf.. He would make many foolish mistakes, and for a short time be driven into a fit of insanity due to the rapid changes of his body and mind, eventually overcoming such and attaining control of himself. Now the half-dragon continues to serve Visenya, seeking to go to heights of draconic power, no mortal had ever achieved.. To become yet more draconic, and bring forth his blood until he achieves his vision of perfection, and satisfies his deep lust for power and ascension.

Current Chant:

Velindilieth has once again been spotted within Sigil.. The green half-dragon seeming moving with no determinable process through ward after ward.. Studying.. A renewed discipline and determination in his eyes.. The holy symbol of Asgorath now openly worn by him. He seems much calmer, and less prone to his chaotic outbursts of before, having in his absence obviously attained better control over his blood's influences, and rather than fighting against them.. Coming to terms with them, and molding them to his own personality.. Whether this spells good or bad for the elf, is yet to be told.
