Appearance
Celestial dragon is likely the thought that crosses the minds of most the first time they see her. At 5’8” with a curvy build, her limbs are covered by innately radiant scales. Traces of these are noticeable on her face and long ears.
Giant wings of the same radiant, golden scales sprout from her back with a span of no less than twelve feet from side to side. A heavy tail beginning at the thickness of her thigh and ending in a point reaches easily to the ground and curls there.
Pointy fangs and luminous cat-like eyes of an intense white-gold make for a visage both terrifying and alluring. Typically seen in a very form-fitting elven chainmail of pristine make, allowing for ease of movement and spellcasting.
History
Tija was born in Excelsior, the Outlands, to a wizard planewalker by the name of Alandra.
Due to complications, Alandra didn’t survive the child-birth and wished for her to not be brought back to life so she could join the plane in spirit.
As such, Tija was left with her dragon father, Thurirlaltiui, who is a servant of Bahamut and member of the Guardians.
Struck by grief and the burden of responsibility, Tija and her father spent her first eighteen years in Venya – Celestia, among other dragons and wyrmlings.
The magical blood of her draconic father and her human eagerness to learn served her well as she began studying magic.
She always felt burdened after finding out about her mother, feeling guilty over her death.
As such, it only encouraged her to further seek escape in books of lore and magic and lead to her reclusive behavior.
Eventually Tija turned eighteen, ready to face the dangers of Excelsior.
At one point Tija was missing, soon after her father was reportedly found dead outside of Excelsior with Tija still nowhere to be seen.
Rumor is that she escaped to the City of Doors and is sought after by the Guardians for questioning.
She has since been seen in the Archives above all places, together with the planeswalking wizard Craugh.
Going by the name of Alandra.
She has adapted fairly fast to her life in the Cage, now usually seen with a greatsword on her back.
Tija's path from there became a rocky one. Completing her Doomguard trials and attending a meeting in the Barracks.
She was arrested and thrown into prison, not many know how she really escaped, but rumours are somebody - or something, springed her.
With her newfound freedom, she spent a time covering her tracks and then began really looking for clues about her father's and mother's past. It lead her to many places and several planes planes. The scope of things constantly expanding, enough to make her own play in it seem tiny in comparison.
She eventually found out most things about her mother, and her dark past. And of how both she and her mother both were machinations in a devious scheme. Angry but not discouraged, Tija vowed to destroy those responsible and continued her search.
With the help of someone or something, Tija went to a location of abyssal forces that were likely responsible for her father's death. A castle full of cambions and an unnamed succubus that admitted to the plotting. While the succubus was destroyed right there and then, it is presumed to be alive still.
Tijaisk once again turns to Sigil, hoping to learn more dark about the Alliance and in turn find the succubus. None the less have the triad of law off her back by helping in the fight against Ventrax.
Now commonly seen on the streets of Sigil, her activity within the Doomguard has resumed. Once again part of the chant and dark of Sigil, she readies herself for the upcoming developments- expected and otherwise.
Yet it wasn't long after this that she had gone missing, though some rumours speak of her being spotted around the Joyward of the Outlands and Excelsior in particular.
Several months later she made a somewhat subtle return to the City of Doors, yet she didn't come back quite the same. She had grown, both in spirit and appearance as she further let go of her human side in favour of the draconic one. Much stranger things have happened in the multiverse where metaphysics and ethics are far from set in stone.
She kept it no secret that she returned to champion the cause of all that is Good and Just in Sigil, what exactly this entailed remains to be discovered. But the first noteworthy happening was driving away Karsperus Blake's Fated from Market Ward together with other Doomguard in an all-out brawl.
As rumors the go, the Doomhalo aspires to Knighthood under the Decay Knight Asenath's tutorship. With the recent activity in the Market Ward and much time spent inviting all kinda cutters and bloods into the IX, one can speculate that she's looking to make a name for herself and forging alliances.
After disastrous confrontations between the Sinkers and Harmonium in the Market Wards, she was confined to the IX together with the satyress Eda. Boldly breaking curfew which landed her a nice cell in the Prison yet again. She was released some time later and disappeared before long. Returning once the news of VENTRAX undoing had spread.
Following her return, she was seen spending considerable time with the Athar Vincent Vale, proprietor of the Ubiquitous Wayfarer in the Lower Ward and Serina Daeth of the Sensate. And something has changed with her, that's for sure. The Doom and Gloom that blanketed her like ash and dirt seems all but gone. Her shine, glow or even Radiance seems to have returned. The reasons remain unclear, but something is obviously going on in the Planeswalking circle.
Tijaisk had ditched her Doomguard badge like some barmy addle-cove and much to the surprise (and perhaps dismay) of some, she pulled through just fine. She did disappear for an extended time however, perhaps it goes to show she does have some worms in her brainbox to lay low after something like that.
Upon her return, she soon made a few new friends. Including Kiko Miyamoto and Nilin Zorastryl, only according to those inclined on giving a blek about Planeswalker's drama; there was plenty of that between the trio. Whichever way things had turned in the end, the aforementioned became a pair and Tijaisk seems to hold them with much favor and friendship.
It wasn't long before it became public knowledge of how Tijaisk now served a small but prominent noble-house within Sigil's Lady's ward; House Yue of the Celestial Bureaucracy. As 'Minister of Cleanliness' she certainly earned a few laughs at such a bizarre title, at least to the outsider. It wasn't long however, before Tijaisk was put to a test and later became an official member of the Household.
As all of this went on, there was no mistake to her new lover; Gwenira Nowhere as the couple was less than subtle about it around the Fulcrum. Recently, things seem to have split the two apart and there's no saying if this will change. Some suggest that their union was discouraged by the Bureaucracy for one being a tiefling. Others speculate it might have something to do with the tiefling joining the Ciphers, which might make some sense. The Bureaucracy who is full of thinking sods mixing with the Thoughtless?
Lately, Xiao Li Tijaisk seems to have climbed the ladder to the Heavens as she has been seen acting as one of the Personal Guards to the Head of the Yue family.
