Lliira is one of the lesser Faerûnian powers, presiding over carefree celebration, contentment, dance, festivals, freedom, happiness, hospitality, liberty, and joy. Her followers wear brightly colored outfits, and adorn themselves with rubies and sapphires. They are known for always having a smile on their lips, and it is unheard of to see one with a frown.
She shares the realm of Brightwater with Sune and Tymora, two other powers of Toril. Her section of the city is called the Quarter of Orange Lanterns. It's quietest during the day, with crowds milling, eating, and enjoying the sun, engaging in picnics, summer dances, and courtship. At night it blossoms into a loud carnival packed with musicians, drunks, scantily-clad dancers, beggars, and knights of the cross-trade.
