The story behind Kincaid that he has told people is that he was born and raised to be an assassin by the Pirate Lord; High Captain Kurth of Luskan. And that this man has kept him loyal by keeping Kincaid's kid sister of 8 years old 'hostage', under threat of horrible things to happen to her should he disobey. Apparently, according to Kincaid, the life of his sister is actually a great one. She is blissfully unaware of the threat that hangs over her head. Kept happy, fed, and safe, these things remain to her provided Kincaid do as he is told. His sister doesn't even know of Kincaid, so he says. Kincaid is afraid to 'rescue' her for doing so risks not only his life but, her own as well. Which he cares more about. He often says that rescuing her would still be ripping a little girl's happy life apart, cause to her, Kincaid would essentially be the villain, hating him for destroying her life. He is a stranger to her. This left Kincaid in turmoil on what to do.

Demeanor:
He seems to be a kind man who likes to joke. When he is not brooding over the situation with his sister. He openly plays and acts almost childish when Minnalushae is present. She seems to bring him a peaceful joy that no one else has been able to.
He does have his serious side, however, but when it comes out seems to be more when he's on a mission.
Professional:
He is a rogue, plain and simple. He doesn't hide it. He openly works for or with Thirianna as part of her team of mercs.
Contacts:
Minnalaushe. He considers her his adopted sister. From day one he has been fond of this young elf. Actively protecting her (even though she doesn't require it) and being there for her as much as he can. He stays with her in the Wayfinder, sharing a room.
Thirianna. He obviously doesn't mind this woman and seems to trust her, as he often goes wherever she asks him to. He works with or for her as part of her merc group.
Luna. Works with her on occasion. Doesn't seem to have an issue with her.
