Appearance
With a flawless complexion, well groomed appearance, and a soothing tone of voice, Kaelin tends to give off a rather charming demeanor.
His violet eyes are often glancing all around, taking in every new surrounding he visits and analyzing each face he meets; however, those who get to know him may tend to notice that because of this, his mind has a habit of wondering.
Over his shoulder he carries a well maintained longbow, and upon his back a quiver filled with a plethora of different sorts of arrows.
History
Kaelin from a young age always felt a bit more ‘different’ than his Ysgardian kin, with most around him so wholly devoted to Eilistraee and to a lesser extent Erevan Ilesere, he felt that he was missing that same allure they held, as his devotion was nothing more than a daily ritual or typical chore that was expected of him.
Even as Kaelin grew up, his peers would follow on well with learning the way of the blade and mastering it with the teachings passed on by the strongest and most formidable leaders of Svartalfheim, yet he held little interest in swordsmanship and instead his attention was drawn more towards the elegance of the bow; following the instruction of those who were adept at it and idolizing them instead.
Things seemed fine with the way he was living, the cave complexes of his home were beautiful to witness, and his progression with the art of both magic and bow were going quite well for him, even managing to beat some of his older peers in friendly combat. But even so, he always had a feeling in the back of his mind that there is something more out there for him. A calling to something greater, with more purpose than the endless skirmishes and battles within the bowels of Ysgard.
Then, on one faithful day when Kaelin was hunting through the distant cave complexes of his home, he discovered a new and mysteriously dark passage, unlike the rest of the cavern paths which were lit up by a silvery glow. Following his curiosity, Kaelin ventured down the passage, occasionally touching the wall for extra support for when the floor demanded uneven footing until he finally reaches the ruins of a building, with pieces of rubble and debris scattered about the more wide-open passage. After looking at the state of the building infront of him and the surrounding mess around it, followed by checking his hands and realizing they were covered in soot - it was clear that some sort of fiery explosion must have occurred. Investigating further, Kaelin slipped his was past the fallen rubble and through a half-blocked off archway, only to find himself somewhere completely different - the City of Doors.
Oddly, despite the strange turn of events; Kaelin saw this as an opportunity to find that which calls to him and begin his own story.
Relations
Brigur Hadriel Anduin - Kaelin's encounters with Brigur have left him with rather introspective thought about himself. Brigur questions Kaelin's morality, beliefs and goals and has had him focus on the understanding of 'what is good'.
Elzar Koshi - A mysterious old man who Kaelin finds is always 'full of surprises'. The two are often found having playful banter at the Fulcrum, and occasionally debates about all sorts of topics, often ending in 'Mister Koshi' offering some sort of 'pearl of wisdom'.
Orphne - Orphne was adopted by the people of Svartalfheim, and Kaelin sees her as one of his kin even if she is blissfully ignorant of the current state of affairs around her. Kaelin does his best to keep her out of harms way.
Cay'Norn Kaeless - One of the first of his 'distant kin' Kaelin met upon arriving in Sigil. Cay'Norn has shared wisdom and advice about his own people to Kaelin, and have ventured together in the past.
Shi'Naynee - One who is lost to the Spider. Kaelin holds pity for Shi'Naynee and wishes to help her recall what little of herself she can remember.
Ralkin & Alauniira_Dhuunyl - Owes his life to these two for saving him from his unfortunate death after an encounter with the notorious 'DX' group. They later taught him about their concept and ideal, and how such things can hold and grant power.
