Eldath is the power of peace, springs, and quiet places in the Torilian Sphere, and her presence is felt wherever there is calm. She is a pacifist who avoids hostile action, even if threatened. Although shy, quiet and enigmatic, Eldath is possessed of unknown depths of character and unexpressed resolve that cannot be broken. She protects rivers, streams, and druids' groves; her dogma is pacifistic, requiring nonviolence of her followers.

Along with her good friend Mielikki, Eldath serves the power Silvanus loyally. Her other allies include Chauntea, Lathander, Sarula Iliene, and Selûne. While Tempus is the opposite of everything Eldath stands for, and vice versa, the two respect each other's conviction. Eldath's clergy often live together in small forest communities where they tend to unspoiled groves, which also serve as places of worship.

Her Elysian is called the True Grove, and it's marked by a ring of tall oaks surrounding a spring.
