| Automated player housing has arrived. As you venture around the world, you'll see hundreds of available houses in dozens of locations around the server. Better yet, these houses come with persistent storage. The rent and size of these houses vary, ranging from a simple 1x1 room to an entire mansion equipped with guards and servants. The Ubiquitous Wayfarer apartments in Sigil and the Hound's Hearth apartments in Tradegate were also added to this system.

Ecstasy has a new exterior area and various shop interiors. (Conker)

The Ditch area in the Hive has been remade.
Languages have been completely overhauled to a brand new system that's automated to player commands. Comprehend Languages and Tongues also tie into this new system. With this in place, adding more languages in future patches will be much more viable. (Numbers, Loops)
Resting in inn rooms, player housing areas, Mordenkainen's Mansions, groves with tents, and the Dread Pirate ship interiors will grant +1 to regeneration and saves until your next rest or death. This is to represent sleeping in a proper bedroom and to encourage the use of these types of areas.
The loot system has been adjusted to combat item bloat in large parties. We don't want sorting loot after a dungeon to be a huge ordeal that takes an hour to set it all out, pick what you want, and then wait for it to be gathered up again and sold. To combat this, the chance for gold instead of an item increases the larger the party is. It's no longer a 1:1 system up to 5 party members now, but there's no longer a drop cap based on party size either. Boss chests are less affected by this change, as the main goal is to cut back on parties having to sort through things like a million wands and staves.
There's another new system in place involving increased party sizes that we'll be observing. When large groups of levels 15+ gather up to tackle content (excluding the Spire of Valor), they may notice that the encounter difficulty has been slightly scaled to match up closer to their group size. This is to make things more interesting for big parties, and won't be noticed too much by smaller groups. (Loops)
Wings and tails have been automated in the starter area for those that are eligible. It automatically filters out any non-wing/tail model choices.
A new NPC has been added to the AFK room that lets you apply scabbards, quivers, etc to the wing slot.
Blood Apostle now has a 3 level arcane requirement and provides half arcane caster progression.
Shield Warden has been reworked a little.
Shield Warden barriers (except Guardian Shroud) are no longer temp hp. (Loops)
Psion has been moved to a base class and no longer requires an app.
Party chat is now party + talk chat. People in talk range will see what you type even in party chat. (Loops)
New player statistics: Ally Raises and Respawns.
Imprisonment no longer cutscenes you or binds your location.
A VFX has been added to Curse Song'd targets.
Various bug fixes.

The quest system should be more intuitive.
Shield Slam won't activate on self and won't go on cooldown if the target is too far. Save vs
poison also fixed by Loops/Mad.
The Plane of Earth isn't so green.
Two-Weapon Defense deflection AC increased to 4 and 6.
Wizard prohibited schools fixed. (Loops)
Wizard illusion school now gives rogue sneak attack instead of blackguard.
Stealth two round cooldown fixed. (LucidPixels)

the area. Activating the entrance as a level 20 will let you and your party skip the first 20
rooms. An epic character's party will skip 40 rooms. The leaderboard will now be wiped.
Blackguard's fiendish might duration is fixed and their undead summon should be more consistent.
Gate and Summon 1-9 now have a tiny chance to shift alignment by 1 point based on good/evil summons.
NPCs randomly going hostile should be fixed.
Isaac's Greater Missle Storm now d12 from d6.
Many small quality of life changes and bug fixes.

| The Planewalker's Guild quest system has been reworked and improved. There are many new quests and rewards for higher levels. All quests will persist through resets and you won't be given a quest you already have. I wouldn't recommend letting them build up too much, though.
Low-level dungeon quests in Sigil will now split turn-in rewards among those in the party in the same area, as long as they are in the appropriate level range for the XP.
New informative chat commands have been added.
The random Outlands/Sigil travel message error should be fixed.
New elf and dwarf heads, along with a new cloak, weapon VFX, and Melf's Minute Meteor
model. Additional animations have also been fixed from the last patch's bug. (SGravley)
Drunken Master has had a few bug fixes and a minor ability rework. (Alioops)
Charge-based abilities with cooldowns should recharge more consistently when dead or logged out.
A certain pair of twins in Pandemonium respawn, and they, along with a group of modrons at the top of Mechanus have been restored to their former glory.

Below you will find the changelog of mechanics from Sigil: Planar Legends. These date from March 30th, 2014 and were transcribed from the defunct Enjin Forum on the 13th of April, 2023. Any after this date were added directly to this wiki page. Where possible, elements such as formatting and typos have been preserved from Enjin. The format of each changelog transcript title is {BUILD_NUMBER - DAY/MONTH/YEAR - ORIGINAL_AUTHOR}.

The transcribed authors are those who made the original changelog forum posts, with individual contributors (where possible) mentioned in the post. Any posts after the 13th of April, 2023 will not mention an author but will include contributors where possible. Due to the nature of forum-based logging, not all dates are confirmed to be accurate. Some earlier changelogs may be duplicates, and hotfixes and updates with minimal/no information may not have been included.
