| New Additions:
Character editing has been totally rehauled to the crafting menu. That means per-part item coloring is finally here. This new system allows a character to hide their helmets, adjust item appearance on the fly, and save dynamic character armor appearances to their character files. Those with access to the advanced editor part can also save and recall whole character appearances with one click. This will allow a class like shifter to instantly switch between pre-written static and dynamic appearances.
I'd like to introduce another brand new system that you can access through the crafting menu that tracks character statistics. At any point, you can see how many creatures you've killed of a specific type, or see how much healing you've done for your party. This system also tracks one of our new quest systems.
Planewalker's Guild - This huge new daily quest system has been implemented for all levels that will grant XP, gold, and rare prizes- including a small chance for artifact pieces. Other prizes are unique to the quest system, and this is the primary way to acquire vault keys now.
Being a low level can be a struggle, especially if you play odd hours and can't find a party. Due to this, I've shifted some party XP to a new quest system exclusively for low levels. You will find quest NPCs around Sigil, easily located via map pin that will grant various quests with an indicated level. In addition to this, nearly all low-level dungeons have all been put on a 30-minute reset timer, rather than 2 hours.
Vestiges of long-forgotten entities have been unearthed. Players will run across these 13 new structures spread out around the server. Using one will grant the character a permanent power boost that persists until death or server reset. Using another Vestige will replace the former bonus. In addition to this, characters below level 20 that use a Vestige will be rewarded 500 XP for each Vestige visited every server reset. This system will later tie into a Binder rework.
Five sacred weapons have been making a recent appearance in the hands of mortals across the Great Wheel. Each one is said to contain a legendary power unique to each weapon. Strife and conflict always seem to follow these weapons, as such creations are highly sought after. (This new system features unique weapons with scripted on-hit effects. Only one sacred weapon may be carried at a time, and dying anywhere but the Spire of Valor will automatically make the weapon drop at the location of death. Thanks to Cibernadie for writing up individual weapon lore.)
Classes:
Blood Apostle: Beta is now live.
Shadowdancer: Shadow Twin ability is now live.
Shifter: Unlocked.
Psion: Has been fixed up enough to allow applications. Still not perfect but pretty good.
Gatecrasher: Planar Tempest now kills NPCs on a failed save. Still flings PCs randomly into
the planes. Summon Spell Dampening and Planar Dampening visual upgrades.
Stalwart Defender: Taunt ability should now work better with enemy AI.
Frenzy Berserker: Berserk Slam now has new VFX.
Blackguard: Fiendish Might now also grants 2 regen and is undispellable. Unholy Sword now
lasts an additional minute.
Doomlord: Unmake Magic now has a scaling DC rather than flat 10. Disintegrate DC and
damage boost properly scaling. Entropic blow has a visual upgrade and is no longer
dispellable.
Spells:
Basic ability buff spells are now d2 + 3, or 5 at caster 20+. (The days of rolling ten 2s in a row are over.)
Disintegrate (spell/psionics): Higher minimum damage.
Blackstaff: Now temporarily conjures a powerful quarterstaff to the caster's hands.
Tenser's Transformation: Visual upgrade.
Death Armor: Level cap has been removed.
Misc:
Butcher's Block has been updated. (Conker)
Most in-game descriptions are now up to date.
Event Tokens: Every event participated in will grant a character an event token. This will help
players and DMs keep track of how many events your characters have participated in.
Enemies should now de-aggro if a player goes into the bleeding state.
The cost of respawning has gone up for higher levels (except in the Spire of Valor).
Store auto resets removed.
New Elder Brain epic boss.
Taborlin has a fancy new interior area and an expanded shop with new consumables, and
new functions such as paying him directly for temporary magical wards and more.
Rigus has a new unique shop.
Many new elixirs added around the server, including a unique brew at Dis, and others at
Tradegate, Nix, Carceri, and Excelsior.
New Prime Material and Inner Plane Gate/Planeshift locations added (some with
Knowledge: Planes checks).

Loot quality in epic dungeons has been shifted to favor the harder dungeons. Loot at the
upper end of epic dungeons will be consistently much better in quantity and quality.

New infinite throwing weapons added.
Empowered Sapphires will show up ten times as often (JK, they're removed).
Chaos Monk gear added.
Shaman gear added.
Spell Changes:
Melf's Minute Meteors added to wizard/sorc/druid/shaman.
Wail of the Banshee now does d20 + d4 per caster level sonic damage on a failed fort save if
the target has death immunities.
Energy Buffer now 24-hour duration from 1 turn per level.
Glow now lasts 10 minutes plus 1 per caster level from 1 round per caster.
Planar Champion:
Planar Champion's Adversity duration is now 2 turns per level from 5 rounds.

True Necromancer:
Total summon update and a new unique Gate summon option.

Drunken Master:

Psychic Crush no longer works on oozes.
Bard:
Ballad of the Banshee now grants specifically PCs a will roll for half damage. DC is 5 + bard
level + cha mod.
Shadowdancer:

Barbarian:
Elemental Rage now grants the appropriate elemental immunity.
Bug Fixes:
The Spire of Valor might no longer rarely bug out with locked chests (potential workaround
for Beamdog bug).
Deathless Touch longer works on undead, constructs, elementals, or oozes. No longer
summons on failed fort save unless creature dies.
Tradegate's Golden Hound will no longer take your key and trap you in a room.

True Necro requires 3 levels of arcane class (wizard), also required a feat only available to level 3 clerics that have the death domain. Now also requires 7 arcane and religion. Added bonus feat to make up for the "ghost" feat they'll need to take to qualify.
Class Updates:
Barbarian now gains a bonus feat at 20 with a choice of ability that boosts their rage. (Loops, Numbers)
Peerless Archer given another rework. (Loops)
Dirge Singer's Culling Song has been reworked. It always applies the cha modifier, but no
longer stacks from enemy to enemy. Base DCs have been increased significantly.
Dread Pirate's Rope Swinger lasts 3 rounds per DP level from 1 round.
Stalwart Defender's Defensive Stance now grants 2 discipline per level and becomes
immune to knockdown at 10. The AC bonus is still half Stalwart levels, but now +1.
True Necro Create Undead/Greater Undead now unlimited use per day with a 15 minute
cooldown.
Divine Champion's Divine Wrath has been given unlimited uses with 3 charges on separate
5 minute cooldowns.
Arcane Archer abilities have been made unlimited use with various cooldown timers.
Lay on Hands has been made unlimited use with a 5 minute cooldown.
Wholeness of Body is now monk level x wis modifier with a minimum heal of 2x monk level. This has been made unlimited use with a 5 minute cooldown.
Assassin's Spiderskin is now 3 AC + 1 every 5 levels, capping at 5 AC at 10 Assassin.
Spells:
Greater Stoneskin has 10 DR minimum for epic casters.
Premonition has 15 DR minimum for epic casters.
Earthquake scales d8 per level from d6. Knockdown on failed save is 2 rounds from 1.
Spiderskin now grants 3 AC +1 every 6 caster levels, capping at 5 AC at 12 caster level.

Below you will find the changelog of mechanics from Sigil: Planar Legends. These date from March 30th, 2014 and were transcribed from the defunct Enjin Forum on the 13th of April, 2023. Any after this date were added directly to this wiki page. Where possible, elements such as formatting and typos have been preserved from Enjin. The format of each changelog transcript title is {BUILD_NUMBER - DAY/MONTH/YEAR - ORIGINAL_AUTHOR}.

The transcribed authors are those who made the original changelog forum posts, with individual contributors (where possible) mentioned in the post. Any posts after the 13th of April, 2023 will not mention an author but will include contributors where possible. Due to the nature of forum-based logging, not all dates are confirmed to be accurate. Some earlier changelogs may be duplicates, and hotfixes and updates with minimal/no information may not have been included.
