| Sigil Planar Legends is now an NWN Extended Edition Server
A quest system is in place with (sometimes) available quests in:
Bedlam (2)
Curst (2)
Faunel (2)
Hopeless (1)
Sylvania (2)
Tradegate (2)
The system will expand to up to 4 quests per town
Influence token system (information pending), gathered via quests as occasional reward
New dungeon where the Desolate village was. Desolate village moved to other location
Changes to the starting area:
subrace selector blocked (it did things wrong, and we're moving most non-application races to our haks for selection at character creation)
A gatekeeper introduces the setting a little bit more, and especially how it can be approached, and how one can play clueless or find information.
The server will switch to EE when our host can do it conveniently, at which point the 1.69 will be shut down. From that point, SPL is an EE server. The full EE implementation (Sigil 400a) is targeted for the weekend, but we effectively move with version 399 and you can all play fully on the new version with your characters (once transferred or made new). The test vault will be wiped.

|-
| Loot should now properly give also +1 - +4 weapons (though named enhanced, dweomered, etc)
Explore xp should be working, more on this in a general thread, but - rather than increasing the rate of xp fairy tick, there has been explore xp added to every plane in the module.
Travel to and from Mistwood should work.
Some updates to lower ward in response to module events.
A few druid items are in the loot table (EtherealVanity)
Some conversation fixes.
The clothes shop should now be able to copy/sell outfits to you.
Explore xp should no longer be awarded to level 20s. This means also, that should you encounter any 'one time' triggers, that's saved for later instead of spent.

Revision as of 19:15, 13 April 2023

Below you will find the changelog of mechanics from Sigil: Planar Legends. These date from March 30th, 2014 and were transcribed from the defunct Enjin Forum on the 13th of April, 2023. Any after this date were added directly to this wiki page. Where possible, elements such as formatting and typos have been preserved from Enjin. The format of each changelog transcript title is {BUILD_NUMBER - DAY/MONTH/YEAR - ORIGINAL_AUTHOR}.

The transcribed authors are those who made the original changelog forum posts, with individual contributors (where possible) mentioned in the post. Any posts after the 13th of April, 2023 will not mention an author but will include contributors where possible. Due to the nature of forum-based logging, not all dates are confirmed to be accurate. Some earlier changelogs may be duplicates, and hotfixes and updates with minimal/no information are not included.
