Character Description
Calandra is a woman of medium height and possessed of a slim build. Her hair is somewhat lengthy, an autumnal shade of reddish-brown. Her eyes, blue, hold an innate intelligence. Her voice sounds in a musical fashion, her spoken words rising and falling in a manner similar to her singing.
Clothing
She favours flowing garb such as dresses, and wears a silver amulet about her neck. The pendant which hangs from it is fashioned into a silver scroll, marking her as a worshipper of Oghma.
History
Calandra, as a follower of Oghma, is a pursuer of knowledge. She intended to become a full-fledged wizard, but realising that her ideas gained more attention when sung, she began to use bardic methods. She was always studious and hardworking back in Arabel, but is also comfortable in the company of others, with social settings proving to be no challenge most of the time, which set her apart from some scholars.
She performed several pieces to teach historical and political accounts, and learnt the Elven and Draconic tongues, both the written alphabet and spoken word. She is also a skilled scribe.
She made the decision to travel the planes to Sigil, believing the City of Doors to hold many opportunities for learning new knowledge, as well as opening the way to perhaps further planes beyond.

Strengths
- Musical - singing and playing the lute, violin or flute.
- Eloquent - She is intelligent, and her intelligence reveals itself partly through her erudite speech.
- Social Butterfly - She is warm and friendly, ultimately personable, and a good reader of emotion.
- Hardworking - Calandra is studious and attentive - a lazy intellectual she is not!
- Magic - She possesses some magical ability, using spellsongs to help her in her study such as Identify, Comprehend Languages and Assess Creature.
Weaknesses
- "Clueless" - While familiar with the concept of planar travel, this is her first attempt, and her knowledge of Sigil still leaves much to be desired.
- Constitution - While she is not often sickly, her body is not the toughest.
- Non-combatant - She is not trained for combat, and struggles to fight even vermin.
- Perfectionist - Calandra is very self-critical, and will not accept that her work is finished until it is perfect.
- Magic - Although her magic benefits her study, few of her spellsongs are beneficial to her defence.
Relationships
- Elira - She considers her at least a friendly acquaintance, if not a friend.
- Ziira -She's grateful to her for pointing her towards Sah'el and the Tytalus Theatre.
- Sah'el - She's unsure quite what to make of her, but enjoyed their meeting.
She sees no one in a wholly negative light presently, even Noggle, despite their meeting.
