Appearance:

A short woman of slender build, she looks like a human, but with the skin fairness of an elf. Her eyes are bright green, and her symmetrical features become apparent when she is studied closely. She usually dresses in a skirt combined with high boots and detached sleeves, a wide belt around her belly and a necklace around her neck. All of her outfits are of a green color, sometimes mixed with a white other times with other colors. She tends to carry a white staff around, as well as the Doomguard shorsword sheathed around her hip.

Personality:

She greets everyone with a smile and a wave. Astra is a very warm being, showing almost everyone some amount of compassion or understanding. Bubbly to an annoying degree sometimes. She enjoys chatting with people and learning more about their origins as much as she does reading. But nothing brings out her excitement more than exploration, and excursions to various places she hasn't visited yet. She can often be seen jotting things in her large journals even in somewhat dangerous situations. She can and will be angry however, when the situation pushes her over the limit.

Relationships:

She tends to get along with most people due to her peaceful nature. She seems to have closer relationship with some certain people, however, such as a clad in armor that goes by Robinet and a Fated that goes by Arca. She holds her faction close as well, of course, often being seen around Nullus, Katya and Saith of the Doomguard. She has had a couple conversations with the other, more popular theurge, Barxire, and holds respect for him and his work. While she does get along with almost everyone, she's been noticed to be at odds with certain necromancers and a factionless chit, but only briefly. All in all, she seems interested in getting to know more people and is not afraid to show it in both words and attitude.

Accomplishments:

Even though she doesn't consider herself a planeswalker, she has definitely taken part in many of their activities and shares some of their accomplishments. Aiding in slaying various dragons, ranging from the White to the Black, as well as defending Faunel's forests from the shadows released by a druid gone rogue and crashing a Lich's lair, defeating it if only for a little while. Some of the minor achievements also include passing the Doomguard trails with flying colors and retrieving feathers from a Raven Lord of the Beastlands together with other adventurers.

Goals:

Her goals are quite simple: She wishes to learn more about the planes and their inhabitants, as well as their religions and culture. At the same time, she seeks to protect nature, entropy and The Cycle, ensuring that balance is preserved. Although controversial to some people, she believes that there is a fine balance between good and evil which needs to be maintained, as one cannot exist without the other. And as such, while she is careful around them, she doesn't hold the beings of lower plane origin in contempt as others might.

Plot Hooks:

As she wants to learn more, Astra is usually interested in expeditions and happy to join other people, lending her magical help in return for protection. She also would do anything to protect Faunel and its surroundings, as it is her home. The threat of undead and liches is always something she will endeavor in stopping, taking a big interest in making sure that all souls are returned to The Cycle after their passing, instead of being trapped by a necromancer..

History:

Astra comes from a small village close to Faunel. Her father was an Axani, while her mother, Selara, is human. Her father left shortly after her mother became pregnant, which in turn affected her mother quite a lot, making her blame herself and project a lot of her issues on the child. Astra was raised by a mother with emotional issues because of it, who would often try to hide her Axani features by messing her hair and such, since the kid reminded her of the father too much. Under the guiding of an aunt, Astra was taught to be very bubbly and cheery in order to keep the spirits up in the house and keep her mother happy, or at least sane. As so, Astra grew up to have a very bubbly personality, perhaps even fake at times, even if she doesn't realize it.

She has been taught the ways of druids ever since she was a little kid, raised to be a druid of Faunel since her talent with Nature was evident. However, as she grew into an adult she realized that her curiosity could not be satiated by being a sedentary druid, so she started studying the arcane as well. This in turn received mixed reactions from the other villagers, a lot of them distancing themselves from her and shunning her to a certain degree. When she decided that there was nothing else she could learn in the village, she decided to travel the Outlands in search of the great "City of Doors", and expand her knowledge to that of the planes, even if it went against her mother's wishes.
