Backstory
(This is a rough version)
The Father
Alyce's childhood was rough, she never knew her mother or if she even had one, but her father was...well he wasn't much of a father to her. Her father was a powerful tyrant who pretended to be a God and "fix" people's problems (it is rumored that he started the problems just to fix them). A human family had a sick and dying child that pleaded to Alyce's father to cure their child, however instead of just simply curing the child, Alyce's father forced her and the child to trade places, saving the child and allowing it to live with Alyce's father. Alyce was forced to live with human parents who had a very modest but almost poor lifestyle, and the reason for her father's actions is unclear. Alyce and the human parents got along very well and even grew very close, the human parents truly believed that Alyce was a daughter of a God, so they treated her like one. Alyce grew up very curious and always found ways to get into trouble, she loved to snoop around and play detective growing up, she even got in trouble many times for sneaking off and reading journals and diaries of other children who she grew up with. Alyce eventually learned about her true father from her human parents and was even allowed to meet him face to face, though during this meeting he instead discarded her denying that she was his daughter. Meanwhile the sibling (the no longer sick human child) was slowly being manipulated into thinking they were his true child and that they were destined to destroy all evil and corruption. Alyce was taught how to fight by her human father and was capable of not only defending herself but also others, though more work still needed to be done. At some point in her teenage years, Alyce learned of the other sibling and was greatly confused, she started to investigate, digging deeper into the mystery. She attempted to sneak into her father's kingdom and learn more but was caught and was confronted by her father, who in return told her everything about her past and why he discarded her, saying she is a child of darkness and a creature of chaos and that he himself was unable to destroy her and that he needed this other sibling to do it. Alyce was angered and upset by this, causing her to quickly return home and tell her human parents of the truth, but by the time she returned they were attacked by the sibling who was sent to kill Alyce. Alyce managed to fight back but wasn't strong enough, but luckily her human father managed to protect her...only taking his life in the process, dying at the hands of his own child. Her human mother was quickly killed soon after and Alyce was severely injured and broken. Her sibling didn't even know what they had just done, unknowing that they just killed their real parents. For years she tried to recover herself and fix what was taken from her but she slowly felt alone and broken, untrusting of her family and the need to have a family again, she wanted her life back. To explain how Alyce arrived in Sigil is one of mystery, not even the full details of her past is revealed to Alyce, many things are still unanswered, many things are still unsolved, and quite possibly will never be answered. But the real question is this...is it truth or is it a lie?
Etherea
(Eh-the-rea)
A prime that is always in both the past and future. Filled with light, life, and creatures of both chaos and law. It is ruled by three major beings, a being of now, a being of past, and a being of future. The prime also has smaller kingdoms ran by monarchs and tyrants.
The prime is very gorgeous and looks a lot like other primes but a bit crisper and cleaner than most, it has less diseases than most, and you will rarely ever catch a sickness from the plane. The prime is mostly filled with humans and other plane touched, with a small amount of elf and dwarf colonies spread around.
The Past
Ruled under the being of Past is the city of Aetheris (e-the-ris), a large but almost forgotten city, it is the second biggest city in all of Etherea and has a large variety of culture and people. The city is almost tribal in nature and follows a lot of tradition and ritual activities. Most of the people in the city are originally from the city and have a large amount of generational values. Most of the infrastructure and architecture is old if not ancient and hasn't been touched for ages, either out of respect or the lack of need. The city appears to be well guarded from the outside and has a very sturdy military force, but a large majority of the city is independent from one another and is ran by their respective families. Four major families control the city and each have their own view and differences. Crime is mostly between the four families as they battle for territory or just simply to spite the other. To most who live here, family is more important than anything and they would die for each other, but anyone who is outside of their blood if viewed with caution and takes time to build trust.

Harmony
Who am I? Why do I exist? What is my purpose?
I was a monster, a creature of chaos, I wished for death and searched for a meaning. I yearned for unity, I craved peace. What is Harmony? Law and Order against chaos? To know one, we must know the other. What is chaos? Chaos is the act of selfish desire, to live for yourself, to seclude yourself from order and to have no meaning. Those who follow chaos believe they are free, that their independence is what they value over all else. What if I tell you that your independence isn't truly chaos, but a extension of law. Independence is to have rights, to have the abilty to live without being afraid of dying. To be free you must have order, to have peace, you must have Harmony. Remove that selfish nature and remove the veil from your eyes! We must fight for others, we must stand together, because we are all in this together, you can't do everything alone. Most call me foolish, many call me a tyrant, I don't care what they wish to view me, truth is powerful, they fear us, fear Harmony, because they know it's true, they know we are correct and capable of overtaking. Our current goal is to obtain Harmony through peace, through words and hearts. But there are those of us who wish to do so by force. I will only resort to force if you refuse to allow us to fight for Harmony. If you wish to stand on your own, be our guest, but don't cry to us when you get burned, don't blame us for your mistakes. We stand together, we fall together, but if you wish to remove yourself from Harmony, you will remain that way! Destroy self, so that we may rise, destroy chaos, so that we may be free, bring justice to those who wish to break the peace, bring Harmony to all! We are one, we are united, we are true, we are free, we are whole, we are strong, we are ever-growing, we are the Harmonium, and we will obtain peace for it has been spoken!
